- eBay UK Business Seller Fees are changing in April 2023 and I have made a very quick summary of all of the changes.
Some things are getting cheaper but most things are worse for sellers.
The biggest change is to the final value fees - most will stay the same but some of the most popular categories had previously enjoyed relatively low final value fees (6.9% not 10.9%) up to £400 and then 2% thereafter. The £400 cut-off is being raised to £1000 and the 2% rate is going up to 3%.
The 2-3% increase is not hugely significant, but for businesses selling phones, cameras or computers which are often between £500 and £1000, this will cause a considerable increase in fees.
Clothing and shoes will also get a 1% increase generally, with the exception of certain types of footware - trainers / sneakers which sell for over £100 will now have a final value fee of 7% not 11%+.

Used items already taxed multiple times should not be taxed again. It's that simple. Ebay out their fees up only because the government wanted to sponge money from them.
