I have watched all the inside training stuff that Liverpool have put out and the players look very happy and are really enjoying the new training sessions.
Slot is a very forward thinking manager and is going to surprise a lot of you that don't know about what he does yet.

I completely agree I've been watching the training sessions myself and it looks good they are all moving the ball quick one and two touches playing fast football I'm excited to see how we play next season. Even the Preston game we lost and played a lot of youngsters you could see how quick we were moving the ball. It's going to take a little time but I think Slot will do a good job for us.

I thought it was disrespectful to Klopp, I was fuming when i heard him!!! its almost like he's saying he wasnt properly coached. Even speaking abt our style of play it seemed he didnt like it, saying that now we're gonna slow down and keep more of the ball. I am a liverpool fan and i am not optimistic of what is to come if we do play as how curtis says we will play, becuz its like we are gonna lose our intensity, and without that we will go bck to be an average PL team.

I don’t think Jone was been disrespectful or ungrateful to Klopp, matter if you’ll ask Klopp he’ll tell no player was more sad of him leaving than Jones. This’s my theory on what he said; Jones love to hold on to the ball sometime a bit too much and wasn’t always idea under Klopp considering he like his teams to be direct. Under Arne Slot he believe they’ll be more possession base and hold on to the ball more like Guadiola’s city and that would suit his play much better.

This take feels like a bit of an overreaction, to be honest. I don't think it's disrespectful to speak your truth if you are not calling anyone out. Certain players thrive more than others in certain styles.
It's clear that - even at this early stage - he feels the adjustments to the style suit him. If you watch the full presser, you'll see he goes on to explain that Slot favours less directness, more patience and greater control over the ball. Since Jones is probably among the best in the squad at retaining possession under pressure in tight spaces and recycling the ball, it's no surprise that this change suits him a bit more.
Also talking about goals and assists betrays a total misunderstanding of his role in Klopp's teams. He was one of our most influential players for a decent stretch of last season when we were doing well. Pretty weak analysis, to be honest.
Will be interested to see how Curtis' role develops this season and whether he can forge a regular place for himself in the team.

These guys analysis of Jones’ statement is so dam poor. Only Curtis, Klopp and the other players know what took place on the training ground and only Curtis knows “what makes him happy”. Who are you, myself or anyone else to determine the what makes Curtis or any other player happy. Why should it be concluded that because Klopp gave Curtis the opportunity, that that’s what’s makes the player “HAPPIER OR HAPPIEST”. Curtis may well be forever grateful and respect Klopp for such opportunity but was that opportunity “the thing” that brought the most joy to the player?
