Interesting pack. I hadn't seen it before. One thing I found for overnight or longer trips is that a slightly heavier pack with a good hip belt is more comfortable for me than a lighter pack without a good hip belt.

I can do an overnighter ( and be very comfortable ) with a TT Essentials MkII 15ltr pack - that is with the addition of some pouches to the PALS, but easily doable - that's a 2 man tent, sleeping pad, down quilt/bag, pillow and SS Cook Kit + Gas Stove.with 3ltrs of water. I'd look at 35l as a luxury pack ... I like TT gear and already use the TT Raid Pack MkIII as my long range multi day loadout. The Trooper could be a nice sweet spot for me ... looking at some of the TAS packs also in the 35L range ... material weight also matters.

Would you do an overnighter with it? Looks like you could with your tarp setup in summer. Having a separate top, would have been ideal.

Yeah, first time I took it out was a 3 Day trip with a winter kit. The bag was pretty full.

I do overnighters with my 25L. I could do 3 nights at a pinch.

That would be a dream for me.

I'll stick with my berghaus centurio I think. Better back system, chest strap and correctly positioned bladder hose exit.

Does this bag have a laptop sleeve? I am considering getting this for hiking but also edc for IT and I need a laptop sleeve

hey. Unfortunately it doesn't. But I'm sure you can still put one in with a case. I've seen that the Osprey Laptop bag seems like a good option for what you need.
