Just use solderin iron to heat the locks to make it shrink

Resellers sell the whole top piece for about $75. I made this fix and found later it was only a software glitch.

No, but after reinstallation it went away but occasionally comes back. It must be something I have installed or incorrect regional settings, but I've never known for sure. I use a registry key entry that turns the caps lock key into a shift key, and it may have been that.

I Brought my laptop which is HP Envy X360 15t 8th gen i7 to Greenhills because the zero key is not working but they don't have a replacement keyboard. And they open the keyboard plate but they didn't properly seal it back. Now I have a loose keyboard. Do not ever bring your laptop to Greenhills for repair. The techs there are a bunch of idiots.
