She passed away several years ago, so I decided to carry on the tradition. Everyone rolls their eyes when they open them - yes, they're wrapped, under the tree - but then they go "Oh, Gran!" It’s actually not usually the product that causes the chipping! It’s usually an issue with application. I would recommend addicting an extra dip bc these powders and liquids are very thin
When you do dip with gel do you find the colors are different from what they would be with activator? I feel like the colors change when you add activator, which of course you don’t do with the gel method.

I bought some nice full coverage tips by mistake and didn’t think I’d like them and gave them to my daughter lol, but they look nice on you. I will have to watch your video coming up on application. Do you show removal too, wondering how to remove them?
Love it! After you encapsulate with base gel- is it tacky when you file? Or do you ignore that and just file. Also- after file- did you finish with straight with no wipe top coat without a layer of gel base under it? I never know if you should have that tacky base coat for gel top coat to have durability?? Sorry for the ?’s.
You’ll definitely want to remove the tacky layer with alcohol. That can bunk up file. I usually just use top coat but if you’re concerned with peeling, you could use a gel base or a primer first!
I prefer using the gel method for applying my dip powder because the dip powder liquids give me such a bad headache! Anyway, what are your tips for removing the polish other than individually wrapping each finger? It’s seems that it takes sooo much longer to remove when using gel.
Yep that can def take a long time. I’ve found the best way for me is to file off as much as possible (without hitting mail of course) and then soak off the last little bit remaining.

Removal is not hard but it’s a process. Basically file down as much as you can without hitting nail and then soak off the rest.
