Only if you need to. Maybe if the room has bass issues or is to small or there to near the wall? The port tuning is quite low from memory.

It's interesting,I was expecting that the capacitance would decrease with aging but it seems it's the opposite.
They tend to increase in value. Just the nature of electrolytic caps. The esr value is the other factor. That increases to.
