Thanks so much, Dan. What a great tria-louge. Loch's nondual meditations have transformed my life so I am free of the PTSD and perpetual anxiety I had. I use his glimpses from Loch's Mindful Glimpses app everyday. So grateful!

What looks out through these eyes? St Francis is reported to have said: "What you are looking for is what is looking. Other key words: Open alive receptivity, effortless effort, choiceless awareness. Non-verbal presence, a container of experience that has no walls. Our true nature is boundlessness that has is like a womb of silent energy that has its own love, intelligence and compassion and courage.
The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When attraction and aversion both are let go, everything becomes clear and undisguised. adapted from Sengtsan, Hsin Hsin Ming.

I can’t wait to listen to this one! I was hoping you’d talk to Loch one day! 🙌♥️

      WHOA! This was incredible!!!
I am so grateful that Dan got into his frustrations with this at times-I was so much like him! I could never figure out how to crack the code!!! I listened to years of videos from loch and endless teachers only to feel like “I’ll never ever get this for some reason!”
Then Matt in his “layman’s terms” just helped me to FINALLY experience it!!!
Omg I thank God for the three of you so deeply!!!!
      🙌♥️🙏

The other mega blessing was that I don’t have the money to go to retreats, or even join any mediation apps-let alone pay for a teacher!
And I got this for FREE because of Dan, Matt and Loch being willing to have this conversation together!
      THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks so much Dan, another great conversation. For someone who has meditated for the past 25 years, I do understand Loch, but I also know that many would not get it! ❤🙏🏽

I'm one of the people who experienced an almost instantaneous breakthrough. True, I may have been primed for it; I've experienced this non-dual state of awareness spontaneously in the past but couldn't name it. After several years of meditating and a lifetime of seeking to transcend the confines of individual ego, I still felt dissatisfied with the "everything or nothing" proposition. Confirming that there is a third way that encompasses both feels right. I also appreciated and took to heart your encouragement at the beginning of the episode to listen by simply letting the words wash over me. Thank you, and I look forward to exploring more of Loch's work!

The parallel to me is with the idea that Ouspensky and Gurdjieff put forward of self remembering.

I have a problem with getting rid of monkey mind because it's the culture mind and you need to be aware of it to know how the culture thinks in order to avoid it cuz it's so predictable so I don't have problems getting rid of it it's just trying to maneuver around it because it is necessary or you're going to get inundated

Loch is not gettng rid of the monkey mind. He is actually returning it to its natural place, honoring it valuable function and introducing an upgraded consciousness that is valued thoughout cultures and history as optimally clear and compassionate.

    My brain hurts, …?

Yes, mine did too which led me to try Loch's mindful glimpses which took me out of my thought-based brain and into the naturally clear, calm and connected awareness based mind. Try the glimpses. I am grateful I did.

This is the next stage of mindfulness, nondual mindfulness from the Tibetan. It is non-conceptual so you have to experience it with Loch's Mindful Glimpses in his app. I have found the practice is actually simpler and more direct so I get the same results in a few minutes that takes me 30 minutes in sitting meditation.
