Hi! I have the sony a6300 and the viltrox ef-e 2 and the yongnuo 50mm 1.8, and the autofocus doesnt work. I have tried with the cdaf and pdaf mode and neither of them work the aotufocus, any solution pls?
It works great with Canon 50mm F1.8, you could check the previous video from my channel. You could find a support list on Viltrox website, as long as your lens is on the list, it should work just fine.

Viltrox IV on a6500 with firmware v1.9 or v041test is a crap, I go back to v1.8 The clear image zoom doesn't work with any firmware version Sigma MC-11 is the best, too bad it doesn't accept EF-S lenses

yeah, the sound could be very loud and noisy, but if you just wanna use this to shoot B roll footage than that would do just fine ~

Yes, they share the same firmware, EF-NEX IV is Ver. 1.9 and EF-E2 is Ver. 0.2, but they are basically the same.

EF lenses were not designed for video works, so it's normal. Otherwise, you should go for the native lenses.

It will be 50mm x 0.71 = 35.5mm ~
