I'm beginning to think that Jack forgot about past Battlefield games. 2042 is a devolution of the franchise. No peeking cover, destruction, naval combat, etc. My buddies and I will play a couple games if Friday Night Battlefield or Portal has something worthwhile before moving on to a more entertaining game.
For the jets, they changed the vehicle spawn categories, so its in a group on its own now, which means that there will always be one available on maps that have jets, without any other vehicle spawn blocking it.
All these updates and improvements to the game really do show just how badly it needed another year in development I wish the devs got that. We would've had a beautiful game
The game wil continue to redeem itself as long Dice continues sending fat bank checks to Jack. Its pathetic, even a prostitute has more ethics than Jack this days.
Really? The games reputation was built on the PC games and those games had zero destruction and BF3 which became their biggest seller before BF1 had hardly any destruction in the urban maps everyone loves.
Tbh there still is a good bit of destruction. I mean most buildings can't come all the way down but you can blow holes in most structures. And it's kinda better that way because it keeps vehicles from being way OP

Idk man I just started playing this game and it's like everyone's a bot. And no I'm not playing against bots, it's just way more casual compared to most shooters. It's always been that way for battlefield games ngl, but that's part of what makes it chill.

This one (and Stod’s last DMZ one) is exactly the content we want. Playing games with your mates with, what we often call, those classic Battlefield moments. I kinda wish Tommo also did this highlight/less polished content too rather than high quality narrative/less frequent content. Either way, great content, thanks Jack.

new map feels like a fishbowl in breakthrough...also wish they would give us more vehicle options in breakthrough as opposed to always giving the assault team an air vehicle and then only giving the defenders a tank or two. The SMG is pretty good, sticking folks with the new explosive weapon is also a ton of fun.
@@iainmorales1753 it’s awesome off the top of my head I think the d1 flag is underground just to the side of that pit with the rappels going into it. The tunnels also work great around the facilities like the one with the huge slide, blasco can let you sneak in perfectly
The post-launch support for BF2042 really shows that Dice still has the talent needed to make a top-tier Battlefield game. If they had more time and less managerial meddling in 2042's development, it might've released in this state or even better.

I ran a single match on this map last night and I gotta say it’s the most battlefield feeling map they have dropped in the game. Was great for sniping too!
The number of people thinking that the game going from dogshit to okay is acceptable is astonishing. If you have fun, more power to you but it is still a poor BF game at its core.
I was so hyped when the game first launched but i could never find myself being interested with either the world or the gameplay, even when i loved all of the other bfs, over 100+ hours in bf1, bf5, 3 and 4.

I am really enjoying BF2042 at the moment. Been with it since the beginning and I’m so glad I stuck with it through its ups and downs.

Flashpoint Breakthrough desperately needs to be changed. I don’t know why it doesn’t utilize the underground sections at all.
