As a European who plays the tabletop game, you're entirely right about both. Forgot to add, my favorite manifestation of dwarf grudge keeping is when you're allied with two dwarf factions that go to war with each other and you can only honour one alliance. The later they confederate and stack their grudges, so now they all hate you. Worse yet if you wanted to stay out of it, that's a double grudge.

But Marienburg itself is basically a Venice-style archipelago city and has a bigger navy then the Empire, so they can't really do shit about it and the Marienburgers just sit there and make money.

I haven't play WH3 yet but considering i like playing The Brass Bull which can move faster than any other lord thanks to juggernaut raiding and rampage to allow me to just raze every civililaztion to the dirt i think would enjoy Khorne. Although unlike brass bull i actually have to manage my army upkeep and maybe that's why Khorne bless the Beastman because the idea of Khorne follower having to actually managed economy would probably offend Khorne even if the economy is still violent lol
The Khorne economy is essentially to outrun bankruptcy by finding more enemies, killing them and taking all their stuff. Aka doing what you're supposed to do anyway.

I love this game. The game where you have dark elves which have slaves and bully everyone, high elves who everyone hates, nurgle who says "its nurglin' time" and poisons ur entire army, the people who dont die, the tiny people who shoot you a lot and dont die, the ones that have so many political problems they just kinda kill themselves to the people who dont die, and much more!
I think the big boon of using warhammer as an ip, is that the whole thrust of a setting based around a wargame kind of REQUIRES each faction and indivigual unit to be interesting enough to buy and compelling enoughto collect an army. so by necessity, over decades, gw had to make interesting, unique, consolidated stuff that just so happened to translate perfectly to an rts. even if you don’t care about stuff outside of the game, I think that shows. dont know why im here anyways, I just play the janky medieval 2 mod.
Bro this review is perfect, this is my exact experience with this game, a fantasy fan, never knew shit about Warhammer, fell in love with the absurdity of the races, and hey, the lore is actually pretty cool to top it off. (Also, love all the embedded Yakuza memes and soundtracks, I see you using It’s Long Hua Expedition while talking about Cathay.)

The difference is that I'm speaking from the diaphragm, and putting deliberate emphasis on the parts of the sentence I want emphasized. Speaking deliberately creates a lot of opportunities for me to make fun kinetic edits and stuff. Not to mention the higher dynamic range lets me be more emotionally expressive through the voiceover. The "trying not to wake someone in the other room" kinda narration from the cruelty squad video would not have worked for the attitude of this script, and the laser focus on flow and pacing. But I do understand how it can be grating overall. I don't think I can do anything about that, but I'll try

I love this game. The game where you have dark elves which have slaves and bully everyone, high elves who everyone hates, nurgle who says "its nurglin' time" and poisons ur entire army, the people who dont die, the tiny people who shoot you a lot and dont die, the ones that have so many political problems they just kinda kill themselves to the people who dont die, and much more!
I think the big boon of using warhammer as an ip, is that the whole thrust of a setting based around a wargame kind of REQUIRES each faction and indivigual unit to be interesting enough to buy and compelling enoughto collect an army.
so by necessity, over decades, gw had to make interesting, unique, consolidated stuff that just so happened to translate perfectly to an rts. even if you don’t care about stuff outside of the game, I think that shows.

Bro this review is perfect, this is my exact experience with this game, a fantasy fan, never knew shit about Warhammer, fell in love with the absurdity of the races, and hey, the lore is actually pretty cool to top it off. (Also, love all the embedded Yakuza memes and soundtracks, I see you using It’s Long Hua Expedition while talking about Cathay.)

It wouldn't be so jarring if you didn't speak exactly like him. Your voice in earlier videos (e.g., your Cruelty Squad review) is much better and I find Sseth's style of speaking incredibly obnoxious.
@@elverkongen2515 the cruelty squad is the same narration style, just executed worse. The difference is that I'm speaking from the diaphragm, and putting deliberate emphasis on the parts of the sentence I want emphasized. Speaking deliberately creates a lot of opportunities for me to make fun kinetic edits and stuff. Not to mention the higher dynamic range lets me be more emotionally expressive through the voiceover. The "trying not to wake someone in the other room" kinda narration from the cruelty squad video would not have worked for the attitude of this script, and the laser focus on flow and pacing. But I do understand how it can be grating overall. I don't think I can do anything about that, but I'll try
With that Generals voice line I'm not all that convinced that you aren't a strategy gamer. Great review.

The algorithm brought me, and on this rare moment it did good. Great video and despite having friends that got me to play tabletop; this game is what got me to care to learn about the lore.
