    hello
i have been watching your videos and you are sharing really nice works.
i have a problem with interference.
i have model - which i didnt make it with solidworks. i imported it later on.
its a bit huge model. i am trying to analize it. however because of such interferences i cannot create mesh.
i cannot edit the parts as you do by entities - its not quite applicable since there are too many parts also.
so what to do? is there any way to go around?

please can you tell me the reason why u didnt chose the oil pin as interference?? In my piston assembly its showing as a interference.

Which appearance you used for the main body?

      Hi Abraham,
This model appears to have one of the built in steel materials applied to the main body along with having "RealView" graphics enabled. The "RealView" graphics is what gives the appearance the realistic shine of metal.

Did it recognize the 'fastener' interferences automatically? Or did you manually have to move them into the 'fasteners' folder?

i think the "fasteners" were pre loaded solidworks parts from the toolbox. so I'm thinking there is some kind of property setting in the fastener part that will recognize the interference option

Pretty late for this reply :)
AS Chet said, the fasteners must be from the Toolbox and yes, in the options there is an option as 'Create fasteners folder'. This is so that we can ignore all those as they don't affect the functionality of the assembly
