Best/most useful video on the topic that I've seen so far
Refreshingly informative and clearly conveyed. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
We appreciate your feedback, thanks for watching!
That was a terrific explanation. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Correctly explained.
my query-when size tolerances are made tight as per contribution findings we also should keep in mind wether it is producible, as it makes manufacturing costly.
Outstanding presentation.
Glad you liked it! Be sure to subscribe for more great 3D CAD Design and 3D printing tutorials.
Great video, very instructional.
Thanks for watching!
Great Video.
Would you know why no dimensions show up after I do an auto dim scheme on a simple square block with a single hole in it? It lights up green indicating that I picked my datums correctly but no dims appear. Even if I try to place a basic dim, it shows up for a second and then disappears. What would I be doing wrong. Thanks.
Very well explained good job👍
Thanks for watching, Siva!
Sir i wil be very thankful if you send the the initial diagram .or send the link
Have you tried with configurations? The dimensions do not seem to stick , when switching configs.
Uggh. I totally appreciate finding this comment before digging into this.
So many things with solidworks that are intended to “make life easier” - things that aren’t part of the very core functionality - end up having issues like this.
Theres a huge difference between sales team presentations and our daily lives in solidworks.
Its really cool. I am associated with mfg but still I love Design area. The explanation n example is at par.
Great to hear!
Very nicely done.
Thanks Daniel! We appreciate you watching.
Really great tutorial
Thanks for the kind feedback. Have a great day.
Sir plz send the initial diagram on which you work .send the link .thanks .
Excellent...Thank you very much
Thank YOU for watching!
Can I do the study measurement between OD of the ring (surface) and ID edge of the cone cylinder ( Why do I have to select the edge in term of ID surface of cylinder ? Because the ID surface cylinder is a cone and ID edge of cylinder is the smallest diameter ) It seems that TolAnalyst does not give me that option , Am I right ? I am looking forward for your response. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the question. Here is a link for partner products that might have some helpful information for you to use: www.solidworks.com/engineering-software-partners-products?wockw=tolerance.
Execellent!! Thank you for your video!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Happy to help.
Why would you put dimensions in basic but not put a control field to govern them with?
In this tutorial we are focused on showing the method and functionality of the tools available mores than creating a drawing package that is ready for manufacturing.
We always recommend users follow industry or company guidelines with regards to GD&T standards.
you should fill the screen with the solidworks model so we can read what you are doing.
Andy Bushnell, thank you for this suggestion. We'll pass this suggestion on to the rest of our team. Thank you for watching.
