At 1.40 my machine doesn't stop the paper at the end of the sheet ...but the rest of machine is ok . It would be a problem ? It doesn't seem so important but don't know maybe a piece is broken inside .
Hii! Im a kid and my grandma who i never got to meet was fully blind. My mum found this and i wanted to learn it, i first started about 4 years ago now then forgot about it, now im relearning!
Let me know if you have any questions about how to load and unload paper from a Perkins Brailler!

44 years since i heard those sounds... can remember clearly how the machine felt to use.
Thanks.

That is a lovely story! Thanks for sharing. Have fun studying!
Can i use rigid sheet film for braille? As a substitute for paper?
I haven’t tried it, so I’m not sure. I have brailled milk jugs and the dots hold up great! If you try it, do you mind letting me know how it goes?
When was it made perkins brailler? I wish to respond ❤
The Perkins Brailler was invented in 1951 by David Abraham.
Thank you so much! I tried and failed with written instructions for 15 mins
You're welcome! Way to stick with it! It will get easier with practice.
Good afternoon I hope you are fine. Please let me know how much it costs
A Perkins Brailler costs about $900 new. But I regularly see used Perkins on eBay for around $300.
