I have a brailler or someone got me brand new. I don’t use mine as much now that I have high-tech stuff like Notaker and computers but I love the physical feeling of writing with braille. You can order paper from places like American printing house in a big box You can get ones with holes for binders or without Any standard print tractor feed paper Might still exist but not sure. Have fun I have a Perkins I am legally blind and have been using the Brailer for 30 years. I used to write short little novels and stories as a kid quite cumbersome but it’s the only way I could do it. I kept a journal and braille much longer and have tons of thick, binders, still put away in my closet to this day, all in pure braille written by hand
The burger can be kind of loud, especially when it vibrates on a wooden surface, light table or desk. Yes My mom could always hear me pounding away upstairs in my room because it would vibrate through the wall to the kitchen lol I couldn’t believe it but it was true. The machine weighs 9 pounds you would not want to drop it at the time when I got mine in 1994 but by somebody for me after well went blind I think the cost was around four to $600?
Wonderful! Have fun creating with your brailler.

I'm trying to introduce myself to braille contractions.
Braille contractions are so helpful! They are worth the time to learn for sure.
How do you load paper in your brailler
So in the top is where the paper is inserted and then you turn the knobs on the side to guide the paper down into the brailler.
Is using a brailler loud?
It sounds very similar to a typewriter if you have heard that. It definitely makes noise but I wouldn't say super loud.

It definitely varies. Mine was just under $300.
