Yeah, 2009-01-16 was a pretty cold day in Canton here even thought I was a toddler back on that day. It was also the day Hotel For Dogs came out to theaters.
January 16, 2009 was a very cold day in Fort Wayne (seen in the regional conditions). Temps went down to -19 on that morning. It tied the record low for that date, set in 1972.
I think it was -2 for me that morning here in West Virginia. I'm glad I came up a few weeks earlier to visit my family in Greenville! I think it was in the balmy 30's then!
during that same cold outbreak I believe, us in Denver, Colorado got down to -22 during the morning commute. My nose hairs froze while I walked across the street to school. I'm surprised we didn't get school cancelled

on 12/16/08 i went out to check my weather station and my min/max thremometer said the low was -8 and i live in washington state my ball point pens ink froze

i remember when this happened(i was in preschool) I woke up, then sat down in front of the tv and watched the weather channel and how the weather man sounded really cool and made me feel comfortable ( i swear im not gay )xd) then, i'd get ready to walk my brother to school, then i'll get dropped of at my bus stop( it had security) then go to school. Good times. Still miss the old layout 2005-2013

i live in Grant County, IN and all the schools were closed that day because of the temps.
I live in Texas and the coldest it has ever been for me ever since I lived in Texas which was 10 years it only went down to 9 degrees
