This concept of 2 armies with their Taisho dueling is really cool! Personally I dabble in Heki-ryu. Would love to try my skill against my Ogasawara-ryu peers!
There are many chances to see Kyudo in Kyoto. And I have some more episodes about Kyudo or Yabusame. If you have time, please check.
shooting with one arm bare, i know its for safety reasons but its hard to deny the cool factor. i was aware of archery and sanjusangendo but not shiramine shrine! i think that area of kyoto is underrated as far as tourists visiting goes. usually i don't see as many foreigners in that area. thank you for the video, really interesting. i am glad i found your channel.
I have some more episodes dealing Kyudo or Yabusame. I recommend Kasagakeshinji of Deep Japan. Please check.
