- In Honor Of!!! Here is the Harry Potter Professor Snape's Potions Class Candy Maker Set. I wanted to make sure I get to the last of my candy maker sets before December starts! The Professor Snape's Potions worked pretty good and tasted good also. This set was packed with cool features, like the Magic Wand, bubbling cauldron and fun tubing system to dispense your potions. I realized after the video that I did have one more Harry Potter set to show you, so I will make sure to do that one next.

oh man, this was so nostalgic. this was one of the first presents i was allowed to buy for myself with birthday money that i'd been given, and it was amazing.

Yeah now the paint is just one colour and not detailed and the toys are super breakable and stupid

I took this for granted as a kid. Now I yearn for the days when toys had actual effort put into them.
I vividly remember getting this exact set for Christmas one year when I was maybe 7-8. I was so into mixing random stuff together and loved the idea of candy making. This makes me feel old.

Omg I had this for Christmas when I was a kid , my mum and dad looked everywhere in every store for this and alarmist gave up until they were grabbing last bits of Xmas food and they saw one last Harry Potter box on the shelf , so mum distracted me , dad bought and slung it in to boot and I had the best Xmas ever making ( from what I remember) weird gross tasting shots !

Susanlucena yeah Snape's more like. You would never understand the subtle science that is potion making. And one of the potions they did was a simple one to cure boils. Snape would never let them do the elixar of life.

Oh god, I had this as a child... I tried mixing more than just the candy. I would get dirt and all sorts of different stuff found in the woods and would mix it all pretending to be a real alchemist.

I remember having this set. The wand that stirred stuff was cool though my brother and I eventually got impatient and stirred it ourselves. I remember being disappointed in the taste of most of what we made. But as a whole, it was fun making stuff. Sometimes, I think of those strange flavors when I watch some of those Japanese candy set videos. There's one that has you make those gel beads by dripping one liquid into another solution and the memory of the strange taste and smell comes back to me like it was yesterday. Eck. XP

I had one of these and it was basically my favorite toy ever. When I ran out of the potion mixes I just put lemonade mix in instead.

there were refill kits you could buy, I think there were even other potions that didn't come with the basic set you could get.

Oh my god, this is a blast from the past. I had all of the Harry Potter sets by Mattel as a kid! I wish they still made them because I just know my kids would love them just as much as I did, if not more.

Thanks for watching! It is correct for this set. Look at the front of the box. The skinnier part is up and that is because there is a magnet on the wider bottom. That is how it spins when making the potion.

As a parent of adult kids who have had kits and things....I KNOW that the adults in the family would be stuck cleaning this toy and they'd get sick of it. Too noisy as well! Not to mention that the length of time stuff has to use battery power would drain them very quickly. Better off being used by a fun-loving adult!
