As a child, Dinobot was my personal hero. And when he died, a part of me died with him. I mourned him for days and days, and even when I watch Code of Hero at the age of 22, I still feel my heart break for him. This tribute is beautiful and reflects Dinobot's struggle of self identity beautifully. Thank you for an amazing tribute to a fallen hero of the past.
if a beast wars figure was deserving of a remake, it would be dinobot, but figure aside, his character was one of the most noble, he died twice in beast wars living up to the warriors code. He had alot of depth, and even when I was younger and first saw this it dawned on me how well this was done. Pound for pound beast wars encompassed seriousness with funny parts, and action, aligning with the original G1 series. this video was well done bro
They are similar to Waldorf and Statler from the Muppet Show: Allways arguing and sometimes being unintentionally funny. For me Dinobot is the true hero of this series: A truly redeemed villain, who saved his future commander on his first day as a member of the maximals, his actions saved Tigatron from becoming a predacon, his heroic sacrifice saved mankind from beeing extinged and prevented Megatron from playing god and when Megatron created a clone from Dinobot's DNS/DNA the clone made the greatest sacrifice again, redeeming himself and his genetic template. There's not a single one, Maximal or Predacon, who can rival this brave warrior in terms of heroism, character development and badassness.
"Tell my tale to those who ask; tell it truly, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest is silence..." "And I... have my honor!" Man, Dinobot was just such a good character.
@@DinoBot65, through his brave last stand and heroic sacrifice Dinobot 1 saved humanity before it even existed, therefor making the Autobot's future victory over the Decepticons possible in the first place. There's no greater act of heroism. Dinobot 2 was cloned out of the first one's DNS/DNA, therefor he had to have his genetic tamplates memories, which is at least my explaination for his change of heart. What ever he was when he and Megaton stole the golden disk, he saw the light and sacrificed himself in order to make things right and saving our entire species from Megatron's attempted genocide. To me Dinobot is a redeemed villain who became the greatest hero during the Beast Wars.
@rinraiden I feel the same about Optimus Prime from the animated TF:TM. It actually gave me nightmares as a kid. Dinobot's sacrifice was no less noble.
Cool song and i wish they did not kill dinobot in the second season or at the end of the third season it would have been cool for him to come back to cybertron with the maximals instead of dying again.
Noah Whiteside THAT IS EGSACTLY WHAT I SAID! DINOBOT'S CLONE COULD HAD EASLY JOINED OPTIMAL OPTIMUS AS THEY ESCAPED THE CRASHING NEMESIS! HE COULD HAD CONTRIBUTED ALOT TO BEAST MACHINES! LIKE LEARNING HOW TO CONTROL HIS ANGER TWARDS MEGATRON FOR ENSLAVING THE PLANET AND REVEALING MORE BACKSTORY OF HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH MEGATRON BEFORE THE BEAST WARS STARTED SHOWING HIS CHANGE FROM FRIEND TO ULTIMATE FOE! OR WHAT IF DINOBOT WERE YOU FIND A SURVIVING MAXIMAL (THAT WOULD BE DIFFERENT FROM NIGHTSCREAM BECAUSE FK NIGHTSCREAM!) AND GROW A CARE FOR SOMEONE TO PROTECT FINDING SOMETHING THATS WORTH LIVING FOR! THEY COULD HAD DONE SO MUCH WITH DINOBOT IN BEAST MACHINES! BUT, THEY KILLED HIM OFF! THAT AGGREGATED ME AS A KID! I did this in all capitals to let put my inner rage. What did you think of my ideas Noah?
@@DinobotKiryu Bruh it would've cheapend Dinobot's sacrifice in season 2 had he been brought back. It's the same thing with Optimus in every Transformers show: He dies as a sacrifice but they either bring him back later in the show or in a following series. It doesn't let the sacrifice sit and have any meaning. I understand your frustration with Dinobot's death and I agree with you that he should've survived just because I'm a fan of him but from a storytelling perspective, it wouldn't make sense to bring him back to begin with.
@@DinoBot65 Don't get me wrong. I think what you say is reasonable. I even agree with it. But I think this clone could have had a pretty cool character arc being a totally seperate identity and that's what I made a whole deal about for a while. If you have any interest, you can either see my Tale Of Dinobot 2 video or look at the comment section of a Transmetal 2 Dinobot 2 video where I put a whole detail discription of what I wish was made. But I do accept what is and believe the original Dinobot by himself sums up a couple ways of life soem can learn from. (Okay that last part may be a stretch.) I just enjoy his character.
Dinobot II was the original Itachi, Greedling, and Walter C. Dornez. And potentially the inspiration for Kashin Koji, Portage D. Ace, Kite, and maybe even Cliffjumper!
"And I... have my honor!"
Dinobot is still my favorite Transformer.
Lived a warrior, died a hero, may his spark join the matrix.
Dragonsamurai14 The greatest of Cybertron.

rinraiden I was annoyed how Dinobot 2 died. If he lived, it could had made up for his death and made Beast Machines a little better.
RIP Dinobot/Dinobot 2, Ravage, Tigerhawk, Wolfang, K-9, Savage/Noble, Silverbolt, Rhinox and Snarl/Tasmanian Kid ! 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 True heroes of the Transformers ! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
*sniffle* Really good. Made me want to cry. I love Dinobot sooo much! T.T
Dinobot ,el Codigo del heroe

This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Dinobot 2.
Superb.
Megatron: yesssssss
Dinobot was the strongest and bravest of all . Him and Rattrap didn't get along but they worked good together

Man, Dinobot was just such a good character.
Dinobot was a hero, a villain, a jerk, a brother, but most importantly a warrior. Dinobot 2 was a savage hunter who found his purpose and his soul.

we all do.
made me sad too!*sniffle*
Atleast until beast machines came along.

dinobot = vegeta
I think Piccolo would also fit.
Dinobot=Wolverine 🥰😍

Does anyone realise that TM2 Dinobot isn't the REAL Dinobot... but a clone made with half of Rampages spark?
Well yeah. I'm sure any fan of Dinobot or Beast Wars in general realizes this.
Yeah, let's just pretend that little abomination didn't happen...
@Vasculio i realized it bcuz i saw that episode when tm2 dinobot was created
@Jereponibus true
@rinraiden Ah! A kindred spirit. greetings fellow fan.
😢❤😢😢😢❤❤❤
Where did 2:32 come from?
Beast Wars was crap.
Confirmed for shit taste.
not really. it actually one of the beast written show out there. no other transformers show can top it.
