The MG MKII 2.0 is one of my all time favorite kits if not my number 1. It's what got me into master grades and still totally holds up.

Advance of Zeta has the most unique designs in Gundam hands-down, and it's criminal that Bandai haven't done more standard releases. And when they do, its usually the more "normal" looking suits.

May be the design of most AOZ suits are very big or way too complicated to make into kit form, but yeah....I wish we got more weird and unique design from AOZ

Hey Mecha, are you ever gonna check out the HG Woundwort? I got one this last Christmas and I personally love it.
Great video! One thing you may have gotten wrong though. From my understanding, the little yellow tubes that flip out from the shoulder are are handles for other suits to grab onto. Since the booster is so powerful, it can have other suitd grab onto it and hitch a ride
Agus Bechi it use for it own to grab when it using 2 more shield booster. In mange, since it is test unit, it is mentioned in first few chapter that if it attach more equipment than normal the structure will get a lot of stress and can be damages.

I wish we could have more of "Advanced Zeta Gundam".
I saved a whole bunch of money and went with the comparable HG Hazels and I think I made the right choice.
Aaaaand between when I made the above comment and this one, they announced HG Hrududus and connector joints to make the HG TTT kits modular. It's been 13 years waiting but better late than never. I def made the right choice with the HG route. I may get the MG Hazel Custom in combat deployment colors in the far flung future.
With the way your rating system is set up, the gold-tiers of today can easily become the silver or even bronze-tiers of tomorrow.
In fact, some of the silver/bronze-tier kits you've reviewed were based on kits that were considered top-tier for their time, like some of the old 00/Age HGs or some late-2000's MGs.
Guess that just shows how Bandai continuously improves when they care to bother. In turn, people expect more and more out of Gunpla.
Otonashi people expect more and more because they keep improving. The moon Gundam, rg sazabi, hg barbatos, freedom and legend 2.0.
I have the HG and it was super nice for a HG. I'll have to get the MG, next. I have the MG 2.0 MKII, and it's pretty good, too. Too bad they don't just have a conversion kit. Thanks for another good one.

Ahh.....the GM Quel that have dream as a Gundam.......give him some love.....bulky Gunpla with minimal panel lining is perfect thing to custom it......just make new panel lines, detail its inner frame, if you have some skill, you can make it hatch open custom...
GM Quel that has been fully upgraded INTO a Gundam. You compare the specs, this is no GM Quel.
If you like that build strike MG you'll love the Re GZ mastergrade...

But how this was classed as an MG is surprising, at best it is a 1/100 reborn..
But just buy the HGUC version... basically the same, just with a $50 saving 😅
It's kinda sad that they didn't put as much effort to a Gundam as popular as this as well as making it P-Bandai. It would have been interesting to see a full development of this kit, closer to the manga artwork. I mean I know the Hazel has an insane amount of tiny details, but I think that something better could have been done if this was a mass retail kit.
It's actually not that popular. It's just popular online among the hobby circles on YT or forums that pay attention to, and see, all things Gundam related. For general audiences who mainly watch the shows and/or buy a kit here and there it's pretty low on the radar
@@xSkye629x have you seen those photos of people literally buys dozen of woundwort kits? tell me its not popular as so far they makes at least 7 aoz kits
xs3tsunax There’s only 2 reasons to buy that many kits: 1. Tons of custom projects in mind- 2- Resell for easy profits- Neither of those are behaviors of your average consumer, nor do photos of a few individuals reflect the entire population. The main AoZ releases, namely the HGUC Hazels and Quel are easy/cheap remold fodder (one Hazel easily makes 2 more with minor changes, and the Quel was a retool of another GM kit). This MG Hazel in PBandai clearly reflects what its makers thinks of its sale potential as well as the amount of effort they need to make a half-assed cashgrab. The Woundworts quality stands only on the fact Bandai had nothing they could retool into it, given its unique design
@@xSkye629x it actually is that popular though based on sales at least since they re released/ offered it thrice last year according to my pbandai supplier. And honestly sales is all that matters to bandai anyway.

cool cool, my mg gundam mk II was my first MG, and it was always so solid, despite it falling from the shelf a few times
His bulky frame gives him that classic armored core look.
a few newer kits have the sliding thigh armor but not enough. The Freedom 2.0 and the kits based on it have it.
The backpack looks like a bird with no wings
so the yellow things on the shoulders...and this is straight from the wiki..the support actuator units on the Hazel's shoulders can be fitted with either multipurpose launchers, or holding grips to help stabilize its arms while in High Mobility Form
I own that kit and im a happy kämper
Also its my fav in my colection
The slider armour in the mk II was because it had it in the anime
got this and the advanced hazel for 9000 yen!! pretty happy about it
Feels more like a kit I would want to heavily modify/ use as a base for customs.

I would put the crossbones ver ka in the brown tier. Looks cool but the build was not fun and so many loose parts. Plus color correcting stickers.
There are a TON of small details that aren't color accurate on this. Bet it will look nice painted though.

this is one of my favorite Mgs from the past 2 to 3 years but that crorch v fin is the biggest disappointment ever. not even the really old gundam 1.0s had a sticker for that.

I really loved the idea of articulated fingers, then my mk2 fell off the bookshelf and it's right thumb just disappeared. Now those high grade holding hands don't look so bad anymore...

I've been looking foward to this kit for last 10 years. However it ends up as a oversized "HGUC". Try the origin HGUC kit then you'll know what I mean.

You should try the hg, more variations and it still doesent feel completely outdated today
This one comes with extra beam. While in the other hand, the build divers kits doesn't even come with a single beam. Only a beam handle.
I have this kit and I love it! My only criticism is the color inaccuracy. The lower abdomen and other areas that should be that purple-blue and the red fingers will have to be painted which can be a pain for some.

Yes the original Gundam Mark 2 2.0 is far better than that other Gundam Mark 2 that you showed in this video. I've heard that from numerous Builders all over Facebook and I personally won't touch it except maybe to use it as a clay shooting target! Targeted and firing

in indonesia, as P Bandai, Hazel cost as much as PG Mark II, moreover with such little gimmick and limited articulation, might as well buy that PG Mark II.

That moving thigh armor represents movable frame tech that is supposed to be introduced by the Mk II Gundam, which they end up using on transformable mobile suits. At least until they started retconning stuff.
