I came to these videos looking for a how-to on removing, cleaning the PS250 carb. I left mine for too many months and the idle jet plugged up. When I do bite the bullet and do this, hopefully with some guidance, I plan to add a fuel shut-off valve. I did this on my Ruckus and now religiously run the carb dry every time I park it. No more plugged jets. Just an idea for a video. Thanks.
Nicely done video very useful thanks. One tip though those trim clips are removed by pressing the center in untill they are recessed then they may be pulled out. Then once removed you spread the inside and push it back out where it is then ready to be installed again. Does not require the use of any tools.
Thank you for your compliment on my video. Those clips gave me a hard time, now i know there is an easier way to remove them i will check it out later. I do appreciate this information.
So thankful I found this video. Great information!
I have a Reflex that uses the same motor.... any vids out there on big ruckus water pump replacement ? thanx
Is this the same for 2005?
Yes it is.
To remove the clips, all you have to do is push it down and pull it out, super easy.
ALL Hondas: To check oil level, remove dipstick, wipe, insert WITHOUT screwing in, remove and check.
Does it matter if you get down to the exact fluid ounce with oil? Or just very close is okay
