Aoa ist schon eine etwas ältere Gruppe, die mal auch eine Band waren. Sie gibt es seit 2012 und haben sehr viele solcher Songs. Damals waren sie mal 8 bis die Schlagzeugerin die Gruppe verlassen hat etwa 2013. Danach lief es zu 7 weiter bis 2017. Danach ging Choa und dann paar Monate nach ihren neuen Comeback Mina. Nun sind sie zu 5 und haben bald wieder ein Comeback mit der Show, davor hatten sie lange Pause.
Ich bin gespannt den Aoa war 2015 meine erste Gruppe und freue mich schon sie bei Queendom weiter zu zusehen. Aber auch die anderen. Kannst du dir noch die Auftritte von (G) Idle anschauen aber das 2 gibt es erst am Freitag da kommt das Cover und von Park Bom die Auftritte waren auch richtig gut müsst ihr auch anschauen

Since you now love Mamamoo so much you should react to an introduction of them or more LIVE performances. You know by now that LIVE performances are their thing. I would recommend their:
- FULL mama 2018 performance
- mma 2016 performance (they collab with a gender fluid dance group)
- mma 2018 performance
- gayo daejun 2018 performance
- gayo daejun 2017 performance (they also did a boy group medley including bts and exo)

The best performance of the show for me. AOA completely shocked and surprised everybody! It was an amazing performance.

I love how Rahim was like all technical and sound-engineery in his review meanwhile Dana was just like ok nope then does the Mamamoo intro.
Both groups indeed have different colors; just that in this round MMM did better.

@@TaiFei ich persönlich habe miniskirt vorgestellt und er hat bei instagramm meine Anfrage geliked. Ich habe ihm beide Auftritt und noch das MV von Good Luck geschickt, habe aber geschrieben das ich persönlich die Miniskirt performance am besten fand:)

@@xapokalypseDas war aber Runde 2. In der Runde ging es um den Vergleich zwischen den beiden Covern, also das Cover "Good Luck" von Mamamoo und "Egotistic" von AOA. Hier hat eben die Performance von AOA besser abgeschnitten als die von Mamamoo. Natürlich ist das "Jammern" auf hohem Niveau. Mamamoos Cover war qualitativ nicht zu bemängeln. Imho fand ich aber die Präsentation eher unrund. Es hat dem Song nicht so gut getan, ihn so zu "zerpflücken".
Das sah die Mehrheit offensichtlich ähnlich.
@@TaiFei Gibt wahrscheinlich auch mehr AOA Fans in Korea bzw. im Publikum als Fans von Mamamoo. So funktioniert das eben im koreanischen Fernsehen, ist bei anderen Shows auch nicht anders. Wenn da plötzlich ne "Legende" gegen eine andere Person oder Gruppe antritt wird ständig die gewählt. War bei Fantastic Duo oder Hit The Stage auch nicht anders
Aoa hat Egoistic von Mamamoo gecovert und Mamamoo Good Luck von AOA. Das Egoistic Cover war halt so gut, dass sogar die Fans von Mamamoo die performance acknowledged haben. Also eigl war das die Performance, die ihr euch eigl hättet ansehen sollen.
Ich fand die AOAs "Egotistic"-Version hier sogar besser als Mamamoos Cover von "Good Luck" obwohl Moonbyuls Intro heiß war.

the unzip part is legendary because it was banned on tv show because it's to sexy. And that's why everyone goes crazy when that part come out. AOA use to be 7 member but now only 5 their an older group that have been inactive that's why the amount of respect in this performance it's just amazing. it's a new choreography, the first time performing as 5 member group, and the legendary unzip part.

There is some backtrack and you can easily hear the difference. 3:20, she sings part of the line live and the high notes are usually backtrack. 3:30, it's live and then when the camera zooms out, it is backtrack. 5:07 live. 7:02, this whole part is backtrack. Good reference for sound. 7:25, she sings live all the way until the last line. AoA usually sing a mix of backtrack and live. This sounds like many of their previous performances.

vocals are truly mamamoo's edge but kpop isn't just about vocals. The effort AOA put to this performance even mamammo was surprised and look up to them. To conclude both groups is good and has different colors.
Mamamoo are too soft and humble to be on this show, they even choosed themselves as the worst performance...that's crazy

they said if they can choose someone who's worse than them it's themselves, but the show didn't allow it, they end up choosing another group instead
Right, and I don't remember seeing or hearing anywhere that Mamamoo claimed to be have performed AOA's song better than them. They're indeed very humble, just wanted to do right by AOA and give their best.
Edit: Ah, ok, later Rahim/Dana commented that Mamamoo said AOA did better - I think this was in the context of AOA obviously putting more effort into practicing than MMM did, and they felt they didn't do more, that they did what they always did. Still, for not "doing more" MMM rocked! lol They have such a crazy schedule so it's no wonder they did not prepare something different other than the dancers doing something slightly different. Oh well, they totally kicked ass on their "mini concert" in episode 2! THAT is what you can truly expect from MMM when they set their sights on an epic performance!

Die Sängerin, die gesagt hatte, wie talentiert alle sind, ist Park Bom ein Mitglied von 2NE1 (Mitglied, weil sie zum Zeitpunkt des Disbandings noch Teil der Gruppe war). Sie hat Hann von (g)i - dle performt, wobei sie mir und vielen anderen Blackjacks (fanbase von 2NE1) persönlich wieder 2NE1 vibes gegeben hat.... Was mich als Blackjack seit 10 Jahren extrem gefreut hat, außerdem hat sie am Ende das 2NE1- Handsign gemacht, was eine große Bedeutung für uns Blackjacks hatte. Der Auftritt ist es auf jeden Fall wert, angeschaut zu werden..

You should watch Wheeins and Solars Duet Song Festival performances if you want to see a performance with no backing vocals and live band. King of the masked singer is also live band and no backing vocals and I think all Mamamoo members appeared.

@RAHIM I told you that special stages like these ones were great when I mentioned Twice. That was a time when you didn't know enough the industry (I'm not judging, I was like you). We can apply that to all the groups, even BTS & Mamamoo did stages that people often mention in the Top 3 of their favorite videos (but you saw that for Mamamoo).
There are so many talented groups.

Most fans always has this bias opinion towards their fav group, i too thought my fav group (before mmm) was the best but mamamoo is crazy good, imo as a group noone can touch mamamoo vocally
on a solo level i would have to say solji and eunji are over all beter vocalist
For Solji I agree since she's a vocal trainer herself. As for Eunji I think I've heard enough of her singing to say that she's exact same level with mmm

Nein Mamamoo meinte Miniskirt. In der ersten Runde musste jede Gruppe ein Performance auswählen die besser sein soll als die eigene und eine die schlechter war. Zur der zweiten Runde haben wir noch gar keine infos weder von mnet noch von Mamamoo.Also erzähl kein.

they came back from a long hiatus, and lost 2 members (in which one was their main vocalist and most of the high notes were hers so one of the members that were left had to cover these notes)
they proved that they can do fine as a group of 5 after coming back from a long break

Thanks for the video! I got here because I saw you react to a lot of Mamamoo content and I love it haha From a producer's viewpoint, isn't it better to react to MVs? I think you could look at some of their earlier stuff (Piano Man, Ah Oop, Mr. Ambiguous), Yes I Am and Wind Flower. They're different from the other MVs you saw from them. But if you like live, please try some of their Immortal Song performances, especially Delilah and Backwoods, they're awsome!!

In der ersten Runde mussten die Gruppen wählen wer besser oder schlechter als sie selber waren.
Mamamoo wollte sich als schlechteste Gruppe wählen, da dies laut Regeln nicht möglich ist haben die Mädels dann AOA als beste Gruppe gewählt.

The one with the solo dance had a sprained ankle and still performed so well. Also, aoa has debuted 2012. They’re the sunbae’s of mamamoo .
That's the very problem of this show actually: it's a singing contest, but only one group is singing live full time and knows how to use the playback tracks in a way that doesn't diminish the feels of the performance (probably because Mamamoo has always been trained like that: live band and live vocals)... so it turns into a performance contest more, I suppose. Which is interesting too, and kinda fitting to the way Kpop is considered in its country of origin anyway, but for anyone who's looking for rich and diverse vocal performances, it's not.
I'd recommend the show Immortal Songs for that (which you've already discovered through Mamamoo's medley, but they've been on the show 13 times and there are other really dope contestants who went to this show; it's always a delight for the ears)

@@daenerysmabij3614 Well, on the first round, Park Bom sang live too, but she resorted to lipsync on the 2nd because she wanted to focus more on the choreo. AOA, OMG and Lovelyz aren't singing live at all, although Jimin from AOA does have live rap parts.
It leaves us with G idle and Mamamoo. The latter never lipsyncs, although they do use the playback track like everyone else from time to time (but they always tone down its volume to hear themselves above it). As for Idle, I have to admit, I need to rewatch their performance, but it seemed to me they mostly used the backtrack too, except for the rap parts.
This ain't a reproach. I mean, that's kinda how Kpop works all the time, but I had wished it would be different for this show, since it was a great occasion to display all these women's vocal abilities (which they all have) in a specific environment :)

Der Auftritt ist aber leider nur im Mittelfeld gelandet. Platz 1 in dieser Runde hatte (G) I-dle eingenommen.

AOA... ist ja ne längere Story mit den ganzen Lineup changes... leider... Miniskirt war damals ihr "Durchbruch"-Song mit dem sie das erste mal #1 bei einer Music Show gemacht haben! Mein persönlicher Favorit ist "Heart Attack", btw!
Nachdem es jetzt einige zeit lang ruhig um AOA war, nehmen sie jetzt durch Queendom wieder fahrt auf! Ihre beiden performances waren echt super gemacht, und haben perfekt ihr Defizit einer fehlenden Lead/Main Vocal überdeckt!!!
Seit Choa raus ist, ist dass nämlich ihr größtes Problem und könnte ihnen echt noch den "Hals" brechen (meine persönliche Meinung)... Wenn man sich die alten AOA releases anhört, ist Choa's Stimme immer present und sie war es auch die den Songs ihren AOA Charakter gegeben hat (bzw. den den stärksten Punkt)... (Auch hier in dem Remix ist Choa's Stimme zuhören) Yuna's Stimme ist zwar gut, aber als Lead/Main insich zu instabil...
Am Ende von Queendom veröffentlicht jede Gruppe/Solist eine Digital Single, da bin ich echt gespannt wie sie das ganze lösen... ich hoffe das beste...
Ihr solltet umbedingt auch auf ihr Mamamoo Cover aus der 2ten Runde reagieren! Das hat bis jetzt am meisten views von den ganzen performances!
Es gibt ein Video von Jimin, Jungkook und J-Hope, wie sie das tanzen 😂 wenn ihr mal was zum Grinsen schauen wollt solltet ihr die BTS girl group dance compilation schauen 😂

AOA concept is sexy & they had 7 members but 2 left in the recent years (Choa & Mina) + the high notes wasn’t originally her part it was their main vocalist part but she left like in 2017 (Choa) but y’all also don’t have to compare them to Mamamoo who are KNOWN for their vocals whereas AOA is more known for their sexy concept

Miniskirt ist halt einfach iconic und AOA sind wirklich sehr beliebt in Korea. Ich finde es sehr schwer beide Gruppen zu vergleichen weil beide schon sehr unterschiedlich sind. Mamamoo sind halt wirklich vocal Queens und glänzen sehr dadurch während AOA iconic Dance moves hat und sehr catchy Songs und die Rapperin Jimin ist auch richtig gut. Beide sind aber auf jeden Fall sehr sexy

Eine Zeit lang war es für AOA die miniskirt Performance VERBOTEN die Röcke aufzumachen.
Ich finde es Mega interessant dass dies anscheinend vorbei ist.
Könnt euch ja mal ein Video dazu anschauen. Es gibt mehrer kpop Videos, wo so manche Szenen verboten sind. Und wo sie sich dann was neues für die live Performances überlegen mussten

Wenn ihr gerade auf dem Queendom Trip seid, könnt ihr vlt auch auf Park Bom - Hann reagieren 😊 Park Bom war früher Teil der Gruppe 2ne1 und der Song Hann ist von (G)-Idle (ist also ein Cover) bzw vlt könnt ihr ja ein double Feature mit Original und Cover machen 😊
ihr müsst verstehen in Korea gibts das seniority prinzip.. also wenn jmd auch nur ein jahe länger im business ist, muss ihnen respekt gezollt werden.. und so wird einiges in shows gesagt was die gruppen vllt selber nicht so meinen 💁🏻♂️ und da Mamamoo die "junioren" von AOA sind, sagen sie selbstverständlich nicht dass sie alles zerstört haben

It seems you are comparing apples to oranges here. The first round the groups did their own songs. Mamamoo = Decalcomanie, AOA = Mini Skirt. Second round Mamamoo covered AOA's Good Luck, AOA covered Egostistic. I know you are swayed toward Mamamoo and I agree they did excellent on both their songs. But AOA really surprised everyone with their performances, especially their cover of Egotistic. They pulled both performances off after losing 2 members, and having not practiced anything together for a year. Also, Seolhyun had a busy schedule and couldn't make all the practices and Chanmi had a sprained ankle. Of course you could say Mamamoo was touring at the same time and were tired/rushed to do this show. But give credit to AOA where credit is due, just like Mamamoo did to AOA on the show, Queendom.
