Then in the next week, these famous atheists would be giving compelling testimony about Jesus and life transforming power etc. But it doesn't happen.

They do go to heaven. All animals are good and have a Spirit. The Spirit belongs to God and always returns to Him. If God created trillions of trillions of stars and named every one of them, He has more than enough room in heaven for every animal. It was only when Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil did humans know evil. Animals are still innocent, they only act according to their nature, its not good or evil, and innocent knows no sin, just like children, they also go to heaven. There is no transgression where there is no sin. Romans 4:15 "Because law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression." Animals deserve heaven more than we do. God is just and fair.
I always thought “so god loved the world that he sent his only son as a sacrifice so we have eternal life through him” in the first place, how is sending a son to die a loving thing to do? Second, did he come back to life in three days, so doesn’t that contradict that whole sacrifice thing? And wasn’t it supposed to wipe the slate clean? None of it makes any sense and it’s time to consign these beliefs with the other pantheons that have com and gone.

We are nothing more than a camp fire. When our fuel is used up, or we are extinguished, we cease to be. All of religion was invented by those who fear their end and desperately want their life to continue. But more and more people have started to doubt. Thousands of years, and there still is no proof. Just hope and faith. And the notion that "The proof that God exists is there is no proof" worked for a while, but doesn't anymore. At least, not for a lot of people.
Have you tried praying, talking to God? Ask Him for proof, ask for a sign. The soul is eternal, brother, but we have free will, and only we get to choose where we go after we leave here. I urge you to listen to near d3ath experiences, people that have flatlined for up to an hour, their soul leaves their b0dy as they survey the room before either going to heaven briefly, or h3ll. They all say that it's more real than reality, the feelings, smell, sound, meeting new relatives, past pets, it's surreal. All religions and atheists see either a section of heaven, or they see h3ll, and many of those people see Jesus, not restricted to just Christianity, all religions and atheists see Him. I've stated this many times but not as eloquently as you. Ironically I've been labeled weak kneed by theists for not believing in an afterlife, for not having the courage to believe in something (faith) that can't be proven. The absurdity of this accusation is that I have the courage of facing death without the promise of an afterlife and the theist is so terrified of death that he/she needs to cling to this false hope constructed in the minds of mere mortals a long, long time ago.

I agree with you, when tens of thousands of people from all religions and atheists all see the exact same two places, heaven and h3ll, describing them the exact same ways, and describing what has happening when they flatlined and their soul physically left, as well as all religions seeing Jesus Christ over and over again, some people just choose not to believe. They had a negative experience with church or Christians and won't compromise even if it does cost them their eternity. There's plenty of evidence, but there's also no evidence if someone doesn't look for it. 2000 individual prophecies prophecies being fulfilled with 100% accuracy and many more being fulfilled today, along with countless NDEs is more than enough proof for me. God answers prayers, but people won't take the time to talk to Him and ask for help to see His existence. I was extremely skeptical, I need solid proof for almost everything, God gave me more than enough proof over the years. I can't and don't want to imagine even one single day without God now, after He's been with me for so long. That one step of faith is all that people are lacking, just to pray once and see what happens. I pray that everyone in these comments gets their own special sign and evidence of the Lord. In the story of Adam and Eve, when Eve eats the fruit of right and wrong, it means she evolved language. It is language that allows us to attempt to discern right from wrong. And because she evolved language, she lost her instincts which is represented by her being "kicked out of the garden." Her curse for evolving language was painful childbirth. The result of the larger brain needed for language and consequently the larger skulls that children were born with. Adam's nakedness in the story refers to his loss of body hair and the "sweat of his brow" refers to the development of agriculture. To have language and stand upright with a mostly hairless body capable of keeping cool enough to engage in agriculture is to be Jewish. Jewish simply means to be evolved. The lost tribes of Israel were the groups that failed to evolve sufficiently and went extinct. Groups like the Neanderthals. Stories change over time and their true meaning can be lost or altered. Noa's ark represents structures like the Viking longhouses that were used to get through the ice age. The great flood was the ice age but the story changed to water because people could understand the idea of a flood better than that of glaciers (which they may not have ever seen). The Jewish people of today are the ones who continue to tell and elaborate on the stories. Religion was the old legal code that people followed to fill in for what would have been covered by instincts. Not all of our instincts were lost, and people tend to believe based on their latent instincts. Basically, people are monkeys fighting over a fruit tree that is long gone. We have agriculture now, we no longer have to fight over trees in the forest. People are maintaining attachment to beliefs that no longer serve us. We are no longer monkeys although we might be evolving to become monkeys again in preparation for the next ice age.

I want to think about this- If there are no humans, or lets say advanced intelligence which observes and understand the world and the universe and whatever, there is no point of the existance of the universe. There is no coherent definition of any of the gods. So demanding that anyone need understand how god ACTS where there is no description of the acts of god that can, nor have, been proved -- that's meaningless. Depending on who you talk to, the god who made us humans didn't even like or want us, hence sending the Great Flood to kill us all. A DIFFERENT god DID like us (/took pity on us) and saved us -- hence why the gods are also vastly different in demeanor between the Old and New Testiments; the first one was basically an adult child throwing temper tantrums and such and the second was kinder. We are nothing more than a camp fire. When our fuel is used up, or we are extinguished, we cease to be. Ironically I've been labeled weak kneed by theists for not believing in an afterlife, for not having the courage to believe in something (faith) that can't be proven. I agree with you, when tens of thousands of people from all religions and atheists all see the exact same two places, heaven and h3ll, describing them the exact same ways, and describing what has happening when they flatlined and their soul physically left, as well as all religions seeing Jesus Christ over and over again, some people just choose not to believe. The great flood was the ice age but the story changed to water because people could understand the idea of a flood better than that of glaciers (which they may not have ever seen). The Jewish people of today are the ones who continue to tell and elaborate on the stories. Religion was the old legal code that people followed to fill in for what would have been covered by instincts. Not all of our instincts were lost, and people tend to believe based on their latent instincts. Basically, people are monkeys fighting over a fruit tree that is long gone. We have agriculture now, we no longer have to fight over trees in the forest. People are maintaining attachment to beliefs that no longer serve us. We are no longer monkeys although we might be evolving to become monkeys again in preparation for the next ice age.

The partition of religions map fails to classify Roman Catholicism (and Eastern Orthodoxy) as separate from Biblical Christianity. However the lynchpin theology is whether first life is the only life. For students of the Bible, death separates first life from second life. Arguing against something without studying enough to understand what the thing you are arguing against actually is, this is what brings eternal lack of understanding. But, the eternal loop of inability to understand what one is arguing against is the very reason for a second life post judgment. God (not the Roman Catholic one) did not fail to understand your struggle, and a solution was planned from the beginning.

First thing first, space, matters and time exist and I am an evolved human being. That’s from an empirical perspective.
