      @@Survival-gyver thanks for your answer good man. I think that Slyde King 2K is a more complete flashlight, the design in both is so similar.

      @@jasnauta I haven't even heard of the slyde king, I'm going to have to check it out. The next Nebo video review coming up is a Franklin, that should be later this coming week.

      Have you charged it? Any signs the battery is bad?

      @@Survival-gyver mine if you keep it on high power for 3 mins or more it self dims itself .. any reason why you think?

    • @Survival-gyver
      @Survival-gyver  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@evanzacherl3963 So I tested it. It just doesn't instantly dims, but after about 30 seconds, it slowly gets dimmer and dimmer until its at the medium mode. I found 2 reasons for this. 1) the battery was not fully charged, and 2) it gets hot. Essentially it has a circuit protection where as either the battery, or the chip gets too hot and it automatically limits power.

      @@Survival-gyver so I need to buy a bigger Lumen rating in order to compensate for the dimming

    • @Survival-gyver
      @Survival-gyver  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@evanzacherl3963 Not really. Higher lumens does not mean brighter, regardless of what popular advertisement suggests. What do you need 1800 lumens for? Are you looking for a narrow beam, or a flood?

    I think that this design is the future of de the da Vinci Line.

      I kinda hope so. Its a beautiful looking design, good color choice, and comfortable to hold.

    Don't get those. They're too bright for most applications. You shine it into a corner and all you see is glare. They're also poor quality. I dropped my 60 dollar flashlight and now it keeps turning off. There's an old flashlight in the garage that's been beat to heck and it works fine. - Not too bright, either.

      You do know the light is dimmable? 1800 lumen, 180 lumen and 18 lumens. Your going to hate the LEP review coming up soon. BTW, LEP means Laser Excited Phosphor, also know as a laser flashlight. At only 260 lumens, and a viewable range of 25 miles, it is a significantly brighter, more defined beam than a generic LED flashlight. Now if you check my channel, its rare that I have anything above 1100 lumens. There are a few, but not many. Many of the brighter flashlights are more military/ems/fire/police/sar use. Just because the lumen number is high, doesn't make it bright. Many different factors that effect lumens, including air temperature and reflector type. I discussed this in detail in my blog, and also explain why I don't due night comparisons, specifically because the different wavelengths, and power behind it, have a drastic effect on the visual representation that my camera can capture.
