a vocal battle theme, this is new, combat beneath the waves could also be considered a vocal battle theme if you take a girl running out of oxygen like that, but a pure vocal battle theme aside of weekly bosses was never seen before in the game
Oh my God, it's SO GOOD! The vocals! The energy! I don't know how to explain it in music terms, all I know is that it goes HARD and I will be dodging just to hear the full OST once Natlan is out.

@@hiddendrifts lol i guess maybe but hoyo is chinese (the only nation they did correctly being liyue which is based off china n some parts of inazuma which is obviously japan) n natlan is based off south america/africa n they kinda.. really.. made literally deities into anime stereotypes so i can completely understand everyones problem with it

it's not midi, but not final either. Be it like the beta version they'd probably do a lil bit of volume balancing or just add some more instrument to make it a bit complete.

this music is so amazing, the vocals are so insane. that makes it suck even more that the characters look nothing like how they should... i recognise certain african languages but these characters do not reflect that at ALL. i hear my people but i do not see them
while i am not from the regions that inspire natlan, i am from southeast asia wherein people perceive us as "jungle asians" simply because we do not fit the standards of beauty. it's truly heartbreaking because POC fight everyday for respect. a game big such as genshin would be much appreciated if it also reflected the people onto the nations they are besed on. they do great with the environment setting, makes me feel like I've traveled to another country. and just like this music, i was quite intrigued and drawn to because I didn't know such music as beautiful as this exist. i sincerely hope the issue will get addressed by the company and i know it's fictional but wouldn't it be wonderful to see and discover something beyond what ur used to. just my take :)
The instruments and vocals are a mix between African and South American elements, some for Mexico, some from Peru and some from Niger, it’s a really great blend
