Was out around Thief Neck Island a couple weeks back and caught some decent smallmouth around the rocks. Also caught some good ones (2-3 lbers ) along bluff walls and off points.
Nothing bad about being a diverse angler, cause we know you can lay a hurtin' on them largemouth! Thanks for sharing can't wait till the Pickwick video, good luck!
I hate you didnt go great, but thats REAL fishing!! Sometimes ya get on em and sometimes ya dont, love the videos even when ya dont catch a bunch, the videos is REAL, keep em coming
This year has been a strange year for Watts Bar. I fish the lake a lot and catch many good bass. I think in a lot of ways it rivals Chick. This year however it has been off. I was out about a week ago and it was the first time I had any luck.
I was killing it on Watts Bar then last week I went into a slump. Nothing but squeakers. My buddy killed it last week on plastic 14-15 bass with 3 being really nice ones. The water is now clearing up. For awhile it was really murky and I was catching them on bright colored crank baits.
You had sort of the same kind of day I had on Cherokee yesterday. Caught 5 bass all day long, then the best hook up probably a 4 1/2 lb largemouth my reel handle decided to come off and lost it which is the day and life of a bass fisherman. Keep chunkin buddy
When we left there from our vacation a couple of weeks ago I couldn’t find them offshore either. Caught most of my bass in the backs of the long coves and secondary creeks on lay downs. Actually had better luck fishing the big creek down by Spring City. Looking forward to the Pickwick videos. Tight lines!
Good video Ryan, I was there this weekend an found some out deep on some flats. Just scattered not really schooled up though.
Another good one bro! Hope your having a good fishcation! LOL
Never fished either of those bodies of water. Good luck on pickwick

I’m on Chik and I think it’s the abnormal pressure
I know alot of people that would rather fish watts bar than chick.

Yeah everything i saw was on docks or in laydowns
Those cats might be smelly and slimy but if you fry them up they taste pretty good with some ketchup
If you know that you can get bit flipping wood or docks why fight it or do you just like fishing deep.
I just enjoy fishing deep
