Impact is an automatic hit, and it stacks between the rider's weapon and the mount. So the model charges, the total Impact goes off and then regular attacks are made. Skirmish uses different point costs for units, and the largest number of models in a group unit is three models.
Always great to see love for free rules. There are very satisfying pieces of work in the ether, just aching to be downloaded and enjoyed! Attractive little combatants; looked really good.
Let's go Dark Elves, I really like the idea of using coloured gems and swapping them out for ownership. I hope you do more of these battles and with larger forces engaged, I love the aesthetic of huge fantasy battles. The Dark Elves might like a hydra or 2 to add to that epic look maybe. Anyway. loved this vid and I'm looking forward to more.
Awesome! 15mm age of fantasy player also. Vampiric Undead, wood elves, and saurians. 3d printing made army collection easy. Working on a full paint job on my wood elves now.
Thanks for the demo. I've been thinking about giving the OPR rules a try with the fantasy armies I've been putting together and the game certainly looks fast and fun.
I did, but I wanted to cover more ground with them. I have a fight coming up with a big block in a week or two. And it really does change the nature of the game in a good way. My collection just isn't large enough to handle it yet.
You need to put some magic or artillery in your list. Also the fact that you can't protect heroes within units meant that your boss got killed in one attack.

Thanks for the help, brother. Always appreciate gamers helping gamers.
Been playing Age of fantasy for a while now. All army lists and basic rules are free. GW suxx balls! :P

It's the gobbos who need some backup. They are all hammer no anvil. Luckily I have a giant looking to earn some goblin coin.

Fantastic! It works so well at this scale, it makes collecting armies addictive. I have some ratmen taking the table later this month.
Awesome stuff as always!
Wow, this looks like it plays faster than the Skirmish version.

There is a lot of crunch during the army preparation, but the game itself flows fast.
I need to send you some movement trays!
I got some, I just need to pretty them up. They are not ready for their close up Mr DeMille.
Nice vid thanks. Not sure if you saw that you can combine 2 units into one , so the gobos could run 20 fig units to help them stick around longer.

5:05 The pdf army lists are somewhat outdated. The army builder app is using the newer reworked army lists that are still in beta stage.
That explains it.
I've been using the army builder for the handy reference sheet at the table. The easier math is just a nice bonus.
Jon, let us know if we need to prepare the guest room. Mauna Loa looks angry
Quick effective, would you play it again?
Already have, I've got two more battles scheduled for the next coming weeks. With more to follow, if everything goes well.

You need to review your videos before uploading + video is named skirmish but you play regiments
...and...?...
Skirmish is a smaller scale version of the game with fewer models.
@@evanlindsey1100 yah i know but video is about regiments version
Is this better?
@@TheJoyofWargaming thank you, much better, love your content
