Hi, just wondering if you know which caravan park it was that had that toy giraffe outside the amusements that kids used to sit on?. I'm going back a long time here to at least the 1950s. My dad used to go to this camp site but I cannot remember the name of it, could've been either Brown's, Winkups, Robin Hood or Lyons. I think Winkups and Robin Hood are now owned by Lyons as are most of the caravan sites around Towyn and Rhyl. I think Winkups used to be situated close to one of the iron footbridges that crosses the railway line at Pensarn beach towards Abergele and Pensarn station.
guessing this was after the floods my caravan was b20 on millers cottage and was sweaped away..
Yes, ours was D15 on kerfoots and was damaged but my dad being a joiner saved it by refitting the floor
