Unless the archbishop was wellknown as an extremely rude person, I think he wanted here to bluff her, to intimidate her and thus dominate her. Get her to become his little obedient puppet in the big game of Royal court. He couldnt do it legally or by normal persuasion. So he tried to trick her into it, by being extremely invasive, frighten her, feel totally dominated... But SHE CALLED HIS BLUFF. Didnt get frightened, keep her wits and her dignity. And when he did his rogue last try to physically invade her, she did gave him this terrible bite. VERRY forceful, its diffcult to bite that hard!!! It probably hints also she was physically very fit, well above average for most women. His fingers bones surely got crushed, he bled profusely... And yeah, she keeping his blood in her mouth, was an extra little touch of her superiority, her power of will too.... SHE was the stronger of them two.... Btw, the servant was apparently seeding with the archbishop, so she isnt really reliable for Catherine.
Ellie is an actress beyond her time, she has got an amazing future ahead of her, she astounds me in every roll she has played, a delightful angel with powerful wings , I see a mountain of academy awards in her future 👏👏💞
