This is the first time I’ve heard an American do a British accent well and she completely disappears into it. If she doesn’t win both an Emmy and a bafta for this it would be an absolute travesty!

The look on Catherine’s face. Elizabeth so lucid for the moment while there. I am reminded of the chaos scene in ATONEMENT at the battle field near the beach, the old Ferris wheel turning, the dead and walking wounded, the dying and crying. War is madness and chaos and hell on earth. 😪 Nothing can make it comical except as morgue humor to survive it. It is horror and tragedy.
