That is an awesome video Felix, thank you. I am now 75 years old and flew hang gliders on and off for 23 years. Log books for 600 hours. I was on the "training hill " in 1989 together with John Durand senior, and was on the hill at Tambourine Mountain when Jonny Durand Jnr took his first high glide.

I cannot stop watching this. It is so mesmerizing. Highlights for me are at 0:20 takeoff, 3:00 and 5:52 looking down over gaggle inside thermal, 7:33 GLORY, 8:45 takeoff, and 10:10 around clouds. It is so fluid. Sound track is perfect. Well done.

A fantastic video Felix!! Very impressed and bringing back all the memories. Your camera and editing really capture the feel of the flying very well. I MUST get one of these cameras. A few questions - did you edit on the computer rather than the phone? What software did you use? Did you leave your camera switched on for the whole flight? What is the battery life?

Thanks, Darren! Camera battery is about 75 minutes or so, continuous filming. I just turn it on/off (quick button). I used iMovie for the editing (I’m a Mac guy), but any editing software would so. You can do edits of videos filmed straight on the phone, but I pulled together many bits and pieces for this video and put it all together using the computer.

I have got my paragliding license on the last summer, but hanggliding is on my wish list too, definietly! ♡ Maybe this year?
Do it! I fly PG's too :) Convenience is awesome, but the feeling of free flight isn' quite comparable to the HG.

The camera films the same, no matter how it’s belt (upside down is the same too!). This is an Insta360 ONEX camera 👍
