I would add that it can be a good idea boosting 1 alt with a power pass anyway, and then letting the "pity" rewards accumulate on week days. Just don't bother doing quests or chaos gates at all, and just let it sit. Then log in on saturday when you have time and get double rewards for everything. It is worth noting that it is still 50% less efficient than doing stuff daily. But something is better than nothing! Alts are also very useful for roster-bound activities. It is a pain to have your main travel all the way back to Prideholm if you just want to level rapport with an npc there. But you can just park your alt near her, as well as bind bifrost elsewhere. Log in, click a few buttons, log out - much faster than going there manually. That's why I would still recommend making an alt even if you aren't gonna spend time on it.

Scrapper? It doesn't perform very well at endgame for PvE. It's a high skillcap PvP class. You master the class you can beat almost any class at PvP provided you have good spatial awareness. But the reason why it's least picked is because people have tried it in other regions including myself and PvE is true end game and scrapper just doesn't hold up in end game raids for efficiency.
@@sejisen2346 Pretty much the same. Tankier but not efficient. Also, worse than Scrapper at PvP. Striker has the same issues. And with Gunslinger and Sharpshooter coming over to EU/NA with their PvP balancing they've received it's 5th in-line for top PvP classes atleast in my opinion. Sharpshooter specifically is too top tier at the moment to even consider other classes in the same ballpark for PvP. Sharpshooter is also better as a PvE DPS than both Scrapper and Wardancer mainly because of the range and maneuverability.

Currently a Deathblade but was thinking of who to use my powerpass on. I wanted to play Lance Master but its not out in NA so saving the 2nd one for them.
Use your power passes, knowledge xfer can be done to 9 alts and you only need to do the Vern transfer. Alt armies are invaluable, even if you don't use it for mains current tier just selling simple mats every day will make you easy thousands.
You already noted it, but on the chart at 3:50, the Berserker's numbers are very inflated right now. I'm certain that in terms of non-bot characters that are level 50, sorceress is at the top followed by gunslinger. Berserker is likely top 3/4.

the class engraving have chances to drop, so if your alt is another class than your main and you get it from drop you get different class engraving than your main, but if it's same class you get the same class engraving.

As a shadowhunter main im having a really hard time deciding on alts. I really want to try something ranged so Gunslinger is an option. But also Scrapper looks really good and "punchy" however i want a support alt too. Paladin i guess? Ah this is hard.
As one of the apparently rare scrappers, I just hit 50 yesterday and have thoroughly enjoyed the class! My alt will probably go to a paladin or sorceress but I've got quite some gear leveling before I'll worry about that
Also main a shadowhunter, I tried every class, but nothing was really doing it for me like demon form and gate of eruption, so I just made a 2nd shadowhunter. Ended up making a pally, striker, and a shadowblade with my 2nd powerpass and 2 knowledge transfers from the stronghold, kinda wish the striker was a 3rd shadowhunter honestly, lol. Leaving 1 spot open to try out the new specs when they show up to NA
I mained deathblade and made multiple alts including a gunslinger for range and BY FAR the most fun (for range) in my opinion is sorceress! Over the last few days I've actually been maining her for the most part, her engravings are fun af and she puts out big numbers especially if you care about min maxing (can cancel animations/time certain abilities and whatnot for optimal dps) I highly recommend! Although this is all opinion so take that for what you will
@@SparTadepT oh man I can relate so hard it seems that beside my main other character doesn't make the cut for me, I created a paladin with power pass to learn how it works but the lack of AoE its killing me inside and the striker that I decided to lvl up in the old way just feels so slow and chunky compared to my deadeye and the same applies to zerk, artillerist, and gunlancer hell even bd and shadowdancer fells clunky...
One thing about the supply and demand is that having a class that has two playstyles based on their class engravings can also make you a lot of gold as you can potentially sell more accessories. I play Pala, Bard and Artillerist and always regret that basically half of my accessory drops are hardly worth anything. On the whole topic of saving money having multiple of the same class might also not be a bad choice. If time is limited or someone really loves the class even better. Engravings (from books) are shared and you can even move the gems between them if you want to.
I pushed out as many alts as I could right away just because I wanted to see what the system looked like. I blew both of my powerpasses, and 3 knowledge boosts already, so I have 6 50 toons all sitting at 302 lol. I tried to at least make them a variety. I love warriors and played Paladin first, so I boosted zerk and lancer to have all 3, and I also boosted Deadeye, Striker, and Sharpshooter. I'm the exact type of player that the freedom to jump between characters so easily can be a trap, since I'm really indecisive about what class I play in any game.

If on your main you have a daily you have to complete 6 times to advance for quest/island token can I log in my alt use 3 of his dailies and 3 on my main and my main would still get it as 6 days? Like are reputations/dailies like that shared or are alts only for like mat grinding?
i went for zerk main and 5 paladins as alts. Since you can only get gold on 6 chars max, i went on full support for my alts. At lv 1325 I can make both dungeons 1325 and 1340. And at lv 1370 I can also do argos P2 no prob. So right now supports as alts are the best imo.

I picked bard as my main and Deathblade as my alt just so I can farm chaos dungeons faster to funnel everything to my bard. But as I am playing on my deathblade i am falling in love with the class. It's so satisfying to see high damage appearing on the screen but I won't be swayed >:) bard is forever number one!
EU-Central Server here. No clue if thats normal, but my dungeons are overrun by powerpass boosted Paladins rn. just wanted to ask if thats similar on the US servers.
sure Shadowhunter demon form is cheap, but at t1 and t2 you have low specialization and the meter doesn't charge fast and demon form doesn't stay up for long.
What about changing the main? I played up until about ilv500 on bard but get a bit struggled with my party since my friend who I've always been partying with is a paladin so we have 2 support when we play together. I'm building up a gunslinger right now, still keep my powerpass though since I don't know if I'll love this class.
if you want to change main i have a suggestion: push your main at t2 until you get the research in your stronghold that gives you 20% increase rate in upgrading of t1 gear and another research that decrease the materials used for upgrading t1 gear by 20%. there's an equivalent research for t2 when you reach t3, and there's another one for t3. if you think it's not worth it then make another main from now. we're stuck with t3 content for at least 1 year cause the director of the game said there are no plans for t4 yet and we don't even have the t3 content that Korea has. we only have a portion of it.
I made mistaek of making alts as soon as, i hit 50, i made 3 alts but i made mistake of playing them till 460ilvl and wasting upgrades on all of them, now i want to gear one to 600 and its very hard coz i have very few resources to get upg mats now, i have finished all t1 islands, and now m 580 and have nothing to get upg mats other than chaos dungeon/guardian raids and it looks like il be getting like only one uograde each day that too can fail so probably if my luck sucks il take weeks to reach 600
@lowe whats the point of the fact that you should "match the engravings?" are they shared among the characters? O.o For example if in my main Scrapper i i max out the Grudge engraving, will my alt shadowhunter already have it maxed out??
I'm currently playing Berserker and having loads on fun (563), and doing well in T1 Abyss Dungeons and Guardian raids. What would people recommend to play as an alt that can hold up well in PVE, I was thinking about playing a gunslinger but wanted to see other peoples thoughts and recommendations
Well fun is subjective to everyone. I can't recommend you to play X cause I like X. You can just narrow down to playstyle and go from there. So seeing as you made berserker you can keep going melee if you like that. Or go something completly different. No one alt is best alt, and that's great. But for efficiency? This vids great advice. As long as you even have an alt or two, it will benefit you.
I recommend doing something completely different to have variety available for whenever you’re in the mood for something different. I’d try creating a character of each class and just trying each subclass out in the beginning trial area. Since you’re a melee DPS character, try a ranged damage character or a supportive class like a paladin!
I really enjoying Soulfist, i know her "ultimate" is kinda rng, either MVP or why do you even here for real tho. But i like the combat/combo of her. My alt will be probably a bard,i like to be most wanted,healing noobs who stand in everything in the other hand...
I main scrapper my first alt I made just last night was bard because I wanted a support class alt. Totally different play style and that's why I chose something so different. Super fun to play I can't be on 24/7 so progressing slower was gunna happen anyway lol.

While zerk and sorc are the most popular i dont think its that bad. A lot of bots are zerks and sorcs so the numbers are skewed. When i did this pre launch beserkers were around 12%
Idk y people keeps saying berserker can do what scrapper can do but better. I'm 520 and am always on top of berserker, almost always getting mvp unless there's a support than mostly likely he/she will get it. My damage percentage around 50 to 60 percent and and only ever see berserker with damage dealt at the end of the game with no staggers or destruction. So can someone tell me how berserker can do what scrapper do but better? And how are scrapper not good for end game? Scrapper is my alt.
Why? When you reach lvl 50 in one char you receive a powerpass that allows you to choose one char to insta level to 50 too (and then you receive another powerpass) *max 2 per account* So you just need to lvl one char in order to have 3 lvl 50's

the director of the game said that there are no plans for t4, so we're stuck with t3 for a long time. 1 year easily. so don't be afraid to change main. but if you're gonna do it do it now
LOAWA is a Korean site that has end-game builds for each of the classes available. Auto-translating the page obviously turns it into broken English, though. Otherwise, informational sites for this game can be a pain to find.
I can say that the class distribution is a little different on eu like on my server...sorc is most played class by a little then you have like 7 other classes that distributed even and then all low pop classes...bard and gunlancer have a very little Playerbase on my server
Yeah, wish I didnt make 3 characters that I got to 30 before sticking to one, and only stuck to that one because the server it was on. The early server bs kinda fucked me lol

Please don't fall into the "let's scream for 10 min into the mic and say absolutely nothing relevant for 9.9 min" category. It's not easy to find great TH-cam content such as yours nowadays. Subbed. The supply and demand logic is a bit flawed. If a class only drops it's own stuff, then a popular class will get more of the drops, so more supply and more demand. The least picked class will have the least supply, but the least demand. It's the exact same.

Ive also heard of people boosting multiple alts of the same class as their main so they can increase the chances of their engravings

I played up until about ilv500 on bard but get a bit struggled with my party since my friend who I've always been partying with is a paladin so we have 2 support when we play together. I'm building up a gunslinger right now, still keep my powerpass though since I don't know if I'll love this class.
if you want to change main i have a suggestion: push your main at t2 until you get the research in your stronghold that gives you 20% increase rate in upgrading of t1 gear and another research that decrease the materials used for upgrading t1 gear by 20%. there's an equivalent research for t2 when you reach t3, and there's another one for t3. if you think it's not worth it then make another main from now. we're stuck with t3 content for at least 1 year cause the director of the game said there are no plans for t4 yet and we don't even have the t3 content that Korea has. we only have a portion of it.
I made mistaek of making alts as soon as, i hit 50, i made 3 alts but i made mistake of playing them till 460ilvl and wasting upgrades on all of them, now i want to gear one to 600 and its very hard coz i have very few resources to get upg mats now, i have finished all t1 islands, and now m 580 and have nothing to get upg mats other than chaos dungeon/guardian raids and it looks like il be getting like only one uograde each day that too can fail so probably if my luck sucks il take weeks to reach 600
and the first one i picked is berzerker LOL. hes 940 right now, only spent 20 bucks since i started playing, been fine.
@lowe whats the point of the fact that you should "match the engravings?" are they shared among the characters? O.o
For example if in my main Scrapper i i max out the Grudge engraving, will my alt shadowhunter already have it maxed out??
Yes that’s exactly right. Leveling up an engraving will level it up for every character you have.
I'm currently playing Berserker and having loads on fun (563), and doing well in T1 Abyss Dungeons and Guardian raids. What would people recommend to play as an alt that can hold up well in PVE, I was thinking about playing a gunslinger but wanted to see other peoples thoughts and recommendations
Well fun is subjective to everyone. I can't recommend you to play X cause I like X. You can just narrow down to playstyle and go from there. So seeing as you made berserker you can keep going melee if you like that. Or go something completly different. No one alt is best alt, and that's great. But for efficiency? This vids great advice. As long as you even have an alt or two, it will benefit you.
I recommend doing something completely different to have variety available for whenever you’re in the mood for something different. I’d try creating a character of each class and just trying each subclass out in the beginning trial area.
Since you’re a melee DPS character, try a ranged damage character or a supportive class like a paladin!

I really enjoying Soulfist, i know her "ultimate" is kinda rng, either MVP or why do you even here for real tho. But i like the combat/combo of her. My alt will be probably a bard,i like to be most wanted,healing noobs who stand in everything in the other hand...
I main scrapper my first alt I made just last night was bard because I wanted a support class alt. Totally different play style and that's why I chose something so different. Super fun to play I can't be on 24/7 so progressing slower was gunna happen anyway lol.

What if you don't know how to main? My main is a soulfist and honestly I have tons of fun with it but I wanna powepass a bard because I wanna try other styles of play and maybe fill in that role for my friends when we do raids together. Is it such a bad idea to give her the powerpass?
That’s a great idea! I cry tears of joy whenever I have a bard in raids. Bards are a great class to have as an alt!

im gonna save my paw pass and just lvl max all my 6 characters i got becuse im in no rush then when new character are comming out im gonna use my paw pass on them
Went Gunlancer main with Deathshadow alt and the engravings seem generally decently similar.
Can I make an alt that's the same class as my main? And are there any drawbacks to doing that?

While zerk and sorc are the most popular i dont think its that bad. A lot of bots are zerks and sorcs so the numbers are skewed. When i did this pre launch beserkers were around 12%

You should still make them even if you're not using them so they can accumulate rest points.

Idk y people keeps saying berserker can do what scrapper can do but better. I'm 520 and am always on top of berserker, almost always getting mvp unless there's a support than mostly likely he/she will get it. My damage percentage around 50 to 60 percent and and only ever see berserker with damage dealt at the end of the game with no staggers or destruction. So can someone tell me how berserker can do what scrapper do but better? And how are scrapper not good for end game? Scrapper is my alt.
I have like 4 characters right now, and I'm currently trying to get all of them to 30.
Why? When you reach lvl 50 in one char you receive a powerpass that allows you to choose one char to insta level to 50 too (and then you receive another powerpass) *max 2 per account* So you just need to lvl one char in order to have 3 lvl 50's

There’s a decent chance. Odds are it will be in the store and you’ll need to pay for it, though.
in other versions there's always a power pass when a new class drop but it's not free.

it depends which ilevel your current main is. if he is still tier 1 then its not time consuming at all.

Note, chart of "mostly berserker" isn't accurate. All the gold farming bots are berserker skewing the stat drastically.

Where are you getting your build information? Everything I keep finding is contradicting info and its making it hard to find something reliable
LOAWA is a Korean site that has end-game builds for each of the classes available. Auto-translating the page obviously turns it into broken English, though. Otherwise, informational sites for this game can be a pain to find.

I can say that the class distribution is a little different on eu like on my server...sorc is most played class by a little then you have like 7 other classes that distributed even and then all low pop classes...bard and gunlancer have a very little Playerbase on my server
Yeah, wish I didnt make 3 characters that I got to 30 before sticking to one, and only stuck to that one because the server it was on. The early server bs kinda fucked me lol
I just used my powerpass on an alt was watching all videos about it, wish you were here before. Lets watch and hope that I made a right choice :D

The supply and demand logic is a bit flawed. If a class only drops it's own stuff, then a popular class will get more of the drops, so more supply and more demand. The least picked class will have the least supply, but the least demand. It's the exact same.
