Far as MMOs go Lost Ark makes it easy by putting all the things you need to do in one place. Wows systems are all over the world take varias NPCs and currencys. Ff14 from what i under stand is also pretty complex. ESO is easy end game only because there isn't an end game lol. Once you get the rhythm you'll catch on easy :) MMOs can be scary but lucky we have a big community to help people along
I wouldn't call it massive. It is just pointlessly convoluted. 100 different currencies, 100 different systems that all achieve the same thing, and wayyyy too many random things thrown in. I mean why tf are cards a thing? Why couldn't they just build out engraving more? Like bro 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey man I agree in some aspects of this game, but I come from playing BDO, and trust me this game makes it simple compared. I have 2k+ hours in BDO and still don’t understand some things

This was really helpful. I was wondering about the "gap" between the blue to purple and purple to legendary gear. The Gear Transfer and the "road map" tips really gave me a North.

i had no clue the abyss gear vendor existed, i got the set chestpiece twice from abys so i basically lvl'd from T1 to T2 in my blue chaos dungeon gear. It didnt actually matter but i didnt realize there was a vendor until i started gates of paradise. the T2 paladin abyss set looks awesome.
i didn’t either, so glad i took the time to search youtube to stumble on this. found out about purple/gold gear not long ago and felt like i really screwed up already.
@@tekkington Felt same until read about that Korean players had blue gear from the start and it was only option 😅 Thanks to them as we got way more polished and linear progression and experience of playing, yes i'm aware with eu central queue issues and massive amount of players and some random downtimes as i'm playing on eu central and in queue rn 😅 So far liked it and really loved that treasure map questline with it's easter eggs and dev notes and wip things. Made me feel more connected and hooked 😂

Good vid. I'm currently stuck at the 580-600 wall. These 40-50% honing chances are rough. All out of mats. Just saving up chaos and guardians. Can't wait for tier 2
Get's worse for t2, t1 shards are really the only bottleneck. T2 when you're like 1020+ going for 1k, you'll be down on leapstones, armor/weapo stones, shards, everything and on top there's an extra material called fusions. Now you get HEAPS of fusions for free with welcome rewards and one main quest but if you get unlucky you'll have to craft them and spend insane gold.
@@ArborusVitae Yep, been doing these for a few days ( most around Vern/Luterra region ), but like 70% I got is for Tier 2, now I've moved to Rohendel so it's pretty much guaranteed to get only T2 ones :D
I mildly hate myself for not finding this guide sooner. I just started the process of gear upgrading today and I didnt know about transferring honing levels to new gear so once I got my purple chaos dungeon set i just upgraded it separately and trashed the old blue gear i got from Shushire that i had at +5

Hmm. You only get that ONE chest of gear once you finish the main quest line that leads you to shushire. And then after that once you do all the endgame stuff, you will craft your gear. So it really really doesn't matter, just get the gear from chaos, upgrade it as much as you can then do abyss and all the endgame stuff then craft your gear from the materials you get from endgame stuff. (Sword icon by the npc you hone gear with)
I did not know that buying the abyssal end bonus loot gave you more honing mats, I never saw it when I looked through the loot I would get from the purchase

Once you hit 600 you can just jump right to 802 from buying a whole set of gear off the Auction House for hardly any gold, then if you had been doing islands and have T2 mats youll be 1k gearscore in like 5 mins.
Question, I didn't know about the abyssal dungeon's and have already made it to Rohendel, should I bother doing the vern abyssal's at this point or just do Rohendel?
Thanks for the info. Lost Ark is really confusing at times. More confusing than WoW. I stopped playing console and WoW. I have put in a lot of time in this game since NA release. All the materials and currency can be confusing. I can see a lot of NA players not liking the style of this mmo. But I really love it. The fighting and team work isn’t too complicated like WoW but good enough to keep your attn and enjoy the game. And the fact that you don’t need a healer in raids/dungeons (though very wanted and makes the raids easier), is something I really like in the game. Bards are squishy af, but I’m a bard and you just have reposition constantly, as were Paladin can handle being hit and better for ‘intro to support’. Bard is more advanced in that you have time things and reposition a lot. Also, they have the lowest mobility, which is a drag at times.
thanks for info. do you have any idea whatsover about when the new classes come out (ie:lancemaster)?? will a vern pass work one of those newer ones? do you think holding onto a vern pass to use on one of them is worth it? or should i just make a 3rd alt now and have the 3 characters pumpin together and just knowledge transfer those newer ones?
Can you go back to the Abyss Dungeon and get the bonus loot or whatever? I remember clicking the button on the right, but don't recall having to purchase anything. Maybe just clicking that button is buying it?

Take it slow after two weeks im slowly just understanding it and do the Power pass tutorial dont skip it it helped sooo much

Meanwhile I'm partially stuck at around 490 :D
I have like 200+ Leapstones but lack of shards, 1-2 Chaos Dungeons gives me single honing attempt.
