What its mean when there is a value of 1200 megaohms in each terminal of compressor. Is that means is good? I’ve got that on a compressor i was checking on a tune up.
What would be considered a bad reading on that Megger? Never really used one and been in the trades for awhile but it looks like a good tool to get. I always usually just check the run load amps and would ohm the windings to see if the start and run windings to giving a reading and nothing to ground. I understand a megger sends high voltage to check the insulation resistance but didn't know what the cutoff would be to call it bad.
Good work, very thorough inspection. I like the megger.
Too many guys stop when they find a problem.
They fix the first problem they find, call it good and hit the road.
Good job finding all the problems.
Thorough inspection will always save call backs and keep customers. Great job Graham !!. Take care, Brett
You got that right
good video, nice job on a complete inspection.
Can you make a video on how to use the Fieldpiece megger
