Love this. I'm about 3 weeks out from my home study and this was great. I didn't know CPS will coordinate the drop off, that's good to know.
Will you go into more detail about what that first day/night/week looks like with a new placement?

I got my first placement- a 5 day old baby girl. At this time she is still with me, going on 4months now and they told me she will be with me for at least another 3mths, which put us into next year. I'm not going to lie, it has been hard. From finding childcare for her, title 20 frustrations..and other things. I;m not getting much support from the agency I'm with...they are saying that they cant provide certain resources. Anyways, I'm someone that has never had children so I am enjoying this journey none the less and plan to keep her for as long as needed. Thanks for asking! Monica :)

Okay soooo, how do they determine how many kids can be with you at a time

What are the perimeters like can someone explain

There is a section in the application process where it asked (age range, race, gender, willing to take in special needs or medical conditions, etc.) I put my parameters based on what I knew I could comfortably handle.. and further discussion comes during the home study. They didn’t tell me how many I can have at a time but there was a square footage requirement each child is required.
