I'm an international student from Thailand, going to a grad school in San Francisco. This year has been hard in every way. My family is half a world away and traveling back is not even an option. I felt very isolated and lonely during the beginning-mid quarantine. It got a little better when things were opening back up, but it's closing back down again which is sad. I'm not allowed to work in my first year of school, so financially it's a little tough. But I'm grateful for my loved ones and my health everyday. Grateful for my family for being supportive and grateful for the internet, so I could talk to my family who all live (too) far away. Happy Holidays to everyone!! Let's all enjoy the holidays and set a great tone for 2021
