What a Muppet of a Forest fan. Why on earth would we want Cooper back when we doing far better and have progressed more under nuno than we did under Cooper. It's such a relief not to see us play ultra low block football every week. Love Cooper for getting us promoted but his style of play is simply not sustainable in the Premier League
U wouldn’t want Coops back, but did wonders for Forest. Saved from relegation, then Got them promoted, kept them in the Prem even with pts deduction

Yes Steve Cooper is a good manager for the lower leagues as for his premiership tactics they are not up to standards
It’s never really successful when managers who have worked for a rival get a job at another rivals club, Poch and Benitez at Chelsea for instance, Benitez won them a European cup but he’s still despised by that fanbase

We loved him at Forest, but i do get why Leicester fans weren't happy. You're never going to win over a rival fanbase quickly. The gap in quality, the restrictions in transfers and tough schedule hasnt helped matters. Cooper dug his own grave deflecting blame during defeats at Forest too

A lot of british managers can get teams promoted but they always stick to bad tactics and sign previously relegated players.
Its clearly not sustainable in the premier league and managers too stubborn to realise that tend to get sacked.

I think most of us Forest fans were a bit surprised that Leicester went for him. Yes, he preformed a miracle in this first 1.8 Seasons with us - Bottom to Promotion in 8 months and then survival in our first season back in the PL for 23 years ! But had he stayed I DO think we'd have been in the bottom 4 come May - and yes, the irony is that we DID finish 4th from bottom with him gone - but under Nuno the football has been much better. Leicester will finish Bottom 4 this season.....their squad is not great. Potter in ? Highly likely.

@ yeah I’m not saying he’s particularly good but he’s a Belgium international regular and if Leicester went down would probably end up at a mid table prem club or and upper end French/Dutch/Belgian one. Point I was making is with a decent manager Leicester would be easily mid table, I said this last season the championship when they were looking like throwing away promotion, hence I didn’t really rate Maresca and thought Chelsea would be a disaster this season, was wrong on that one obviously but the point stands. Man for man, Leicester are better than the two they came up with and arguably better than a few above them.
