Isagi has already done a cured direct shot from outside of the penalty box. He did it in the second selection in the 4v4 match for the game winning goal but Rin block it with his head.
His off the ball movement is just getting better, but i still think that has better in that aspect (for the moment) but now he will act more like a striker having someone that can create plays for him
I disagree with the part of direct shot being good for a striker. As Isagi states in the u-20 match that to use direct shot he needs to: 1. Be open, 2. Recieve a pass, 3. Not have the enemy see thorugh it. That is too much. For example Kunigami finnese shot. Sure u may be able to read it but its too powerfull and fast to stop it. Rins shooting. He doesnt need too much space cuz he'll curve it around the defender. Point is, isagi depends too much on ppl while BL is trying to make a lone striker that can carry his team. Direct shot has too much condidtions to be *good* for a striker.

So what do you have to say about barou currently.. and maybe you should understand what a direct shot is before you talk.. some people(probably even you) thinks it only volleys but that’s not the case, direct shot implies first touch=shot, doesn’t have to be a volley tho, reread the manga and you’ll see the shot where he forced barou to pass and called him a ret@rd wasn’t a volley it was ground ball, and even his back heel shot was more of a half volley..
