Kurona is literally the goat. Planet Hotline is one of the biggest upgrades becuse it meant he could always get near the shooting area

Isagi didn't get Direct Shoot against Niko. It was just a regular shoot. Against the Team Z match was when he come up with Direct Shoot. Direct shoot is a weapon that takes advantage of Isagi's IQ, to shoot at a predicted place without needing to trap the ball.
That is a fair point. In Chapter 37 Isagi did remember that he used the direct shot to knock out Kira and the time he used it in the match against Niko's team so both times he did use it. So it may have been a incomplete or named version of the direct shot but I just counted it.

He has always had an amazing direct shot he just needed to awaken his ego and make that connection between his spatial awareness and how to make a goal before anyone can reach him
He did the direct shot in all of those occasions, though against Nagi was when he first did it consciously and intentionally.

Isagi before Neo egoist league was just a predictor but after that he was the playmaker.he decided how the match should in the field.the reason why he leveled up so much that he one of the top 4 players in blue lock is because he now doesn't give a shit on how other people would feel if he defeats them.he sends thier dreames straight to hell.and uses them as distraction or decoys or pawns as he no longer only decides the match he aswell plays in the match.from heart of blue lock he turned into the brain of blue lock who uses everyone and himself to make him the actual protagonist

direct shot is unironically the worst weapon. it just a shot. everyone can do that. add some spin to dat or something or at least make it go further, like that's literally just a worse version of kaiser impact. it can't even benefit from predator eye.
I see your point but I think direct shot becomes more valuable when you consider that Isagi does not have to trap the ball in any sort of way. it doesn't give your opponents enough time to close the distance and hinder you. And coupled with off the ball movement, I see how Isagi could steal some goals.

Another thing of note, though, is that I think Isagi is a player that fits into the direct shot almost *perfectly.* I feel like the direct shot requires you to already know where you're going to shoot, and that just kind of works into how Isagi's mind functions. With Nagi, and his trapping ability, he actually has time to think about his next play. The direct shot is definitely not just shooting the ball at the goal immediately as it gets to you, is how I think about it.
