Blaine - "I don't get how adding more games takes away value from the regular season, sure you can lose more regular season games and still get in." Smh. Lol.
Having to be undefeated to get to the playoffs is what made CFB special. If I wanted to watch a team be mediocre and still get rewarded by going to the post season I’d watch the NFL. The only reason these talking heads like play off expansion is because it gives them something to talk about. As fans of CFB our #1 concern should be maintaining the tradition and keeping this beautiful sport from turning into the heartless and soulless NFL!
That’s BS. College football has the most meaningless regular season. Last year had a team go undefeated and won their conference. But in the end that didn’t matter.
@@braddavid902 Florida state got left out because their QB broke his leg on the field and they literally didn’t have another QB good enough that they would have been competitive in the playoffs it had nothing to do with the regular season
@@braddavid902 you have to sacrifice things like that for the better of the sport with less teams in the post season the regular season games become their own play off games in a way That’s why Auburn vs Alabama 2013 was such a big deal The game would always have been massive for the respected fanbases but by the wider audience it was a massive game because the winner had a real shot at the title
The playoff should have been 8 tops. In most years there’s maybe 3 teams capable of winning it all with the 4th team just thrown in to fill the spot. Last year was the first time I felt like there were more than 4 teams capable of winning it all
I don’t think the BCS affects the regular games, but it does kill the bowls. Non-conference games come down to whether the program believes playing good non-conference games helps or hurts. The old thinking was it was better to play easy non-con games, but then FSU ran the table and got screwed out of the playoffs last year. We’ll have to see how programs react to this.
I was today years old when I realized their flaming dragon sound bite is from Tropic Thunder, re watched it for the first time since it was released years ago and when I saw the scene I was like the Leo DiCaprio meme where he's pointing at the tv 😂😂
Yesterday did I hear right Jake said he was watching practice tape of Jerry Rice running routes. David I blame you Jake has too much time on his hands you need to let him babysit your kids he could use the practice. Instead of watching practice tapes of a player not playing.
Noone seems to realize how different the national champion list would have changed if football had adopted this 70 years ago. Anyone think Colorado and Georgia Tech split the 1990 trophy? How many schools would have to take down their banners nationwide?
Georgia vs Clemson. Tell me how the outcome has as much importance as with the four team( or wait, the BCS)? CRAIN and CO loves losers. Still love the show.
I disagree because now we’re just adding losers and giving them more chances. How’s that fair for a winner who went undefeated then loses in the playoff and then they’re just done cause now it’s the playoffs. While those 2 or 3 loss teams got to lose in the regular season and still made the playoffs.
Probably shouldn’t drink a sponsored product live on air if it tastes nasty haha No one is buying that product now after seeing Blaine’s instant regret. 😂
Yo David, long time first time 😊 while yes technically its 12 of 133 or whatever # is fractionally miniscule but we all need to keep it 💯💯 other than a random university across the country once or twice a generation legitimately lands in the top 15 ranking post Natty/Seasons end. So its maybe 12 out of 30 true schools where their name and mascot rolls of the tongue after being woken from a drunken stuper!!! Its something that CFB and certainly its loyal fans recognize to be factual. Its like the NFL saying their franchises span the USFL, AFL, UFL!!! Its all "professional football" yeah but do the Memphis Steamboats have a chance of facing Mahomes in next year's Superbowl??? 😂😂 For real though

The trickle down effect will make it better for more teams

Liberty vs App State will be very interesting out of conference matchup for that group of 5 bid.
So we’re just not going to address that it’s flaming dragon Friday?

I didn’t USC has Zachary Branch dude is pretty good boys !!!!
Blaine said so good for the ad read drink but his face said otherwise 😂
NCSU is gonna hang around till halfway in the third and we’ll pull away and win by 17. GBO
We better hope the OL is anywhere close to the War Pigs or even 2011 team
A game that was not on that list Arkansas vs Oklahoma State that game is so big for Sam Pittman
FSU vs ND much better than Texas A&M and ND haha
Agreed
Lol how tf you have Memphis vs FSU and not us VS Notre Dame lmao

Nebraska gonna stomp Colorado if their qb doesn’t hand the ball to the defense constantly like last year.
You need to make a list of the worst match ups. Complete blowouts. Your walk one play in the 2nd quarter

Dont sleep on Dabo. Would not be surprised one bit if Clemson wins over Georgia.
I'd be shocked. I'd bet my bottom dollar GA covers 13.5

Dawgs over Clemson 38-13

The disrespect to FSU is insane man lmao "says more about FSU" they haven't even played a game yet
It's not disrespect, miami is just that good this year while fsu lost a lot
