Want to give Kel credit, she is the first in these kinds of videos who picked up the gallop of the bass drums throughout. That was something that I loved about this song since first heard in 1983. Saw the Kill Em All tour at the age of 12.
Get tired of people saying Dave Mustaine this and Mustaine that,Cliff,James and Lars were the backbone of Metallica, Master of Puppets album is their masterpiece and Mustaine had nothing to do with it.Mustaine ain't a pimple on Cliff or James' ass.
Good lord. You think so? We are having fun no matter what. Spread the word if you want. I agree that something was lacking so we just gave us a try and POOF...look at this reaction...blessed and so much fun and love all around. Peace.
She's only heard a couple Metallica songs and she's already slam-dancing! Awesome! Love that you picked up on the horse hoof melody on your first ride though the song!
First off Happy Birthday Rich! loved this reaction so much, You guys are amazing, my favorite part was when the first solo came around Kelli’s face lit up like a Christmas tree haha. Love these Metallica reactions keep them coming please!
Rich - you do two things I love... the first is looking adoringly at Kel while she’s discovering this for the first time. The second is when you look at the camera knowingly to us other Metallica lovers. The joy the two of you have is infectious... thank you!
Dave was given a writing credit for this song, which was originally called Mechanix. When he formed Megadeth he recorded his version of Mechanix for their first album, Killing Is My Business....and Business Is Good.
Yes Rich play that Kelicaster! I'm here to defend these guys and their right to thrash, enjoy themselves and vocally react as they please!! They are enjoying themselves and having fun if you don't like it go elsewhere.
Yea for real, fuck off and listen to reactions Vin and Sorry fake ass nonesense if you got a fucking problem. This is metal and you are entitled to react anyway possible. FUCK OFF POSERS!!!
My favorite track from the Kill 'Em All album. Finally someone has done a reaction video to it. :) The look on Kel's face once it was finished was priceless. :) I have to say, you two are making some great song choices so a big thanks for listening to your viewers requests. Keep 'em coming. PS: Rich, happy birthday for yesterday mate.
We got quite the treat, then! My husband, son and myself got floor tickets to see Metallica March 6, 2019 at Kansas City and they played The Four Housemen!! The entire show was amazing! One of my all-time favorite and my son's as well. We had s great time and it was WELL worth every dime spent.
One of my top 3 Metallica songs! This was the band that actually broke me away from Maiden after 4 years of continuous listening.I’ll never forget the first time hearing them at a lunch table in 9th grade.A girl had a boom box and started playing For whom the bell tolls. It blew my mind and I went out after school and bought Both of their albums and didn’t turn them off for months..lol.Another Great reaction!
We BOTH know it like the back of our....one of my favs and hers as well. We first reacted to HW on our own at home...no camera...but it gave us the idea back then. Never did a first react until 8 days ago on camera...kaboom...look what has happened. We will think about how to play this one and how to label it. Ideas. We both go NUTS when we hear this song. Top 10 of all 'Tallica IOHO.
@@Kel.N.RichReactions great album and song..maybe the live version when they finally played it..so goes back to my original request.lol.Iron Maiden The Clansman live from Rock in Rio
Great! this is the secon song I've heard from Metallica, in 1985 in a radio station in Medellín-Colombia (first was Motorbreath both were played as a couple of songs launching a new band that was blown heads away in San Francisco) I was 15 and my feeling was almost as Kel does. This reaction gives me gosebumps, this was the first mosh pit I see in a reaction video. Love it (you) guys, thanks. By the way, in a coment iast week I said "If Kel likes this one, when she reacts to The four horsemen, she will be going crazy" So...
My favorite band in ths whole world, I can play drums to a lot of there songs......its how I really taugh myself drums and I could relax behind the kit getting on it more and more. Air drum practicing does work by the way!
Definetely this is, by far, my favorite reaction channel, love to see her discovering this amazing music, and how Rich enjoys watching her reactions...#CoupleGoals
Metallica greatest band of all time- fact. Biggest fan from Ireland , followed Metallica since mid 80s here in Ireland. Bought my first album and justice for all when I was 10 in 88. Listen to them daily and in my opinion first five albums up to and including the black album are MASTERPIECES.
I admire u both so much thx for being.... I really wish we could chill and listen to music together,, I am all in with you both, u touch my soul and thank you so much for that,,, love you both, R.I.P to you're son Rich love you brother
Happy birthday Rich! Just been binging your vids . Love the reactions, love seeing Kel's journey. Check my comment on the Creed vid for some recomendations that might be a bit obscure to share with Kel. Keep up the great stuff you two!
I've Seen Metallica... 5 or 6 times..... Last Concert was Day on the Green... But the Best Show was when they showed up in my Backyard! Tower Records... 5 blocks away from home In San Jose!
It's a brilliant song, and very complex. The complexity maybe a reason why it's not played often live. I first listened to it in 1985 when I was 15. Great music, thank you.
Oh how I would love to see Metallica!! Have you guys ever been to any concerts of theres?? I was thinking about them so I came to your channel bc I knew I could find some music from them lol 😉💖
The ”soft guitarr part”in the middle of the song was Daves idea. It is the sweet home Alabama (Lynyrd skynyrd)riff Dave Mustaine turned that riff around and the other guys didnt even notice it☺️ Cliff should have noticed it,he was a HUGE Lynyrd Skynyrd fan. He made that part because Lars wanted a soft part in the middle and Dave didnt and so just to mess with the ”soft Idea ”this became the end result. Cool huh?!🤘👍 Love your reaction videos, you seem so genuine and real and i like that🇸🇪❤️
This must be so fun for you guys. Watching this video makes me remember the first time I ever heard this song. Kill em All was the last Metallica record I bought during the black album era. Around 92 I bought it and was thinking why did I wait so long to buy this. At first I was taken aback by how Hetfield sounded so different. I thought he sounded like Paul Baloff from Exodus back then. You can hear Dave Mustaines influence in these songs from kill em all. He wrote half of the album. I like Horsemen more than Mechanix, both are great but Metallicas version with the time signature changes are just perfect. It's slower heavier and just great.
your,e such a great loving couple and its fantastic to see your reaction to the music i love so much.awesome keep up the great work love you both.metal will live forever.
Amazing reaction!!! Amazing! I think you both enjoy “No Leaf Clover”, which is from their album with the San Francisco Symphony. Underrated just like Horsemen, but amazing as well.
I remember that shirt, errrrrr, this video. 4 fu¢kin' years ago?! I need to revisit the a tool fear inoculum deep dive with your neighbor. I was hearing it for the first time same as you and it was glorious.
The Mechanix was the title of the song on their demo No life till leather. The same song with different lyrics. I think that Kill em all was quite "punk" in comparison to later albums, but not in bad way, though.
I remember seeing an interview where they talk about Dave getting pissed and threatening to record the riff from Sweet Home Alabama in this song. You'll notice that this riff is missing from the Megadeth song, Mechanix (which started as the demo for what became Four Horsemen).
BIRTHDAY ALERT! I shit you not, it says I have the 666th view here! This is the very first vid of yours that I've seen. My birthday is April 13th. I love the way you guys are having fun, it's awesome, I really wish I was there with you, it's fucking crazy I ran across you guys tonight, kick ass.. As far as birthday goes, at first I was thinking Motley Crue Wild Side, but I figure we have all heard that lots. Maybe some newer stuff? If you are into it, how about Dance Macabre by the band Ghost. ???? I hardly ever make a comment on TH-cam, but I had to here because you guys made me fall in love with your happy go lucky style.
Kel 🦄 here 😊 Excellent! please find my channel Kelli Gafter and send me a #BirthdayAlertKel on the day of your birthday, along with the band and the track title and we will happily add it to the playlist for the evening. Thanks for being here with us!
Dave Brought Mechanix with him when he joined Metallica. They re tooled it into the four horsemen. After they threw Dave out, he went on to publish Mechanix under the Megadeth banner on the album Killing's my business...and business is good.
I just now started seeing your videos guys...I have a bunch of suggestions but I'm curious how she'll react to the cover of "Am I Evil" by Metallica, the solo more than anything....happy birthday Rich #guitarsspeaktome

Let's drop the debate over who wrote and played guitar in this song and appreciate the bass work of Cliff here.
I fucking love your name XD
Nah Ill appreciate what i want

@@MrToband I gotta disagree with you i played metal in the 80s in my opinion Dave and Cliff made the sound that was the best .
Yep ,shes a keeper ! lol

Keeper for sure.

I was 12 when this was introduced! It was a Major Turning Point (Musically) in My Life!
Dave didn't play on the album, he wrote some of the riffs and he played on early live and demo versions of these songs, but not on the actual album.
I love it when Kel says "oh yeah
..." so hot. And you make a great couple! Keep on sailing through metallica history... _\m/

Lol 😂 I was patiently waiting for the reaction @5:12
The band site says they've started to put this back in the set list for the US, they did it in Missouri 4 days ago.
I appreciate the early days of Metallica 🤘
Kill 'em all was recorded in Rochester, NY. 1.3 miles from my house.
Try To Live is to Die and One with her and joy \m/
To live is to die is epic, def one they should react to as well.
Dave Mustaine has song writing credits on four of the tracks on Kill Em All but he was kicked out of the band before recording started.
The 80s had the best music, especially metal
When Kel starts slam dancing in her chair and bouncing Rich! LOVE IT LMAO!

5:07 They start
It's really hard to not fall in love with a girl that enjoys this song that much hahaha
I must say from the 80s era Kill Em All is probably their best album, and their most underrated
Is the worst of the 80s
