Today I played as the Cumans from 1066 and went feudal in 1200. From 50k army i had under 10k. And It took forever to research everything tribal even when i allways focused on learning.
A minor thing everyone might want to remember. There is always a single tech that will take 33 years, while all the others will take 300+ years. So research the techs that are 300+ years, since they will drop to 16 year research times when you focus them, while the 33 year tech will research itself. So you can do 3 techs for the research time of 2, if this is followed. If you try to force the freebie, you won't get a benefit from it being a freebie.
These guides are awesome because they are practical knowledge and not just spouting tutorial and tooltip info That said...is research even a thing?? I'm on my grandchild and I think I've researched a single technology...it's so ridiculously slow
Thanks, and yes it's a thing. It depends on if you're the cultural head. If you are to boost tech gain encourage development of you capital and take the scholarship focus. One of the first two options boosts tech gain immensely. Try to have good learning heirs as well, but tech is meant to be slow

its rough
I was surprised that not many people went over this yet. Thanks for the help! Great job as always
thanks, I did it since I also noted the lack of guides
Thank you, these guides are great!
Glad you like them!
I forgot how slow tech is in this series. Got too used to the overpowered hermetic society in ck2
yeah tech sucks in this game

Very good point!
Jesus I can't even find the innovation menu. I might as well give up.
