I also rely heavily on the work of the Arbinger institute for my overall understanding of our ability to choose our life's direction.

Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.

I can honestly say yours is the best channel, the best online channel of any.
Better than any one on one counselling I have ever had.
I have chronic anxiety and depression , sadly for me and people who were/are in my life , I never knew what I had .
Despite many events in my life, I only discovered that the anxiety has been with me All my life.
There is so much more , a dysfunctional life , 12year sober alcoholic , bereavement as close as it can possibly get and that's twice tragically . Marriage break up .
Painfully shy, self conscious (those were the buzzwords in childhood and as a teenager) I have never held a job more than a year as any kind of authority overwhelms me, years of 70% of the time spent in bed cowering from the world etc etc... it just goes on.
But I still have hope, I want to be somewhat "normal" , accept some of the vulnerability including being an introvert etc...
Your videos are wonderful and I am trying hard.
My question would be, should I really accept that I am an introvert and try to build from there.
Thank you for the calmness you exude, you are reassuring and right now, very very helpful.
    Thank you. ❤️🙏🙏

"You might not know everything, but you might know more than someone else. Doing something with what you know can save a life, so don't let it stop you from trying".
Really appreciate your openness and honesty. It is so easy to think we don't know enough or we're not good enough, but the countless people you are helping will hopefully help to be an encouragement to you through this. Thank you for all that you do

It has been a difficult period for so many. Many of us have done things based on our values that we thought we would never have to do. We grow stronger or we let others be an excuse to give up.

My family, my partner and my friends support me, and i am blessed for that, but sometimes it is difficult for them to understand exactly what i'm going through and that it is not easy to break the mood/way of thinking. Take care of yourself and courage, you do a lot of good for people all over the world and especially for those who can not go to therapy or are ashamed to do it.

And for me personally I love that, and I think I can safely say for most of us that watch your content, thats one of the qualities we love about you, and what you do! Yes you are human and experience these things as well, but you guide others from a place of authenticity and example. I think in today's world its so easy for anyone in your situation to not show this side of things, and act as if one is not experiencing these things as a mental health professional, but you do show that you experience these things as well. So thank you!! And thank you for being you.

How could anyone dislike your work? Your videos have literally taught me some life skills and insights that I should have learned as a small kid. How many people are out there who are not in contact with a good therapist, and to whom your videos were an awesome alternative

As a fellow introvert, can I just express my thankfulness that you have put yourself out there on TH-cam. I find your videos to be really helpful, and I hope I find an in person therapist in my own country that is as good as you :)

Thank you so much for being human with us, and sharing your own experiences with these emotions as they are happening to you. It's nice to hear from an actual therapist who can relate. I hope you know how powerful these videos are. And I hope you know how strong you are to being willing to share. 🙌💪

Thank you for all the hard work you do and then for sharing it! Your joy is contagious! I wondered, as a person who likes metal detecting, if you’ve ever seen the British tv series Detectorists? I thinks it’s the best show ever made and I think you might like it! I pray for you!

Can’t believe anyone disliked this video. Someone said, “if an angel came down from heaven and made TH-cam videos about what it is like, there are some who would dislike those videos.” There’s no pleasing everyone.

This was such a balm to my heart this morning. I've been railing on myself about knowing how to deal with stress/anxiety/overwhelm...but still being stuck in my feelings. Thanks for being a person --- and showing us how knowing how to help others face something doesn't mean we won't ever need help. 💜

Added note - I'm starting to work as a coach helping others through stress too, and I most certainly still have my own to work through (as we all, humans, do!), and part of what is clear to me - that I tell people - is that we all need MIRRORS. 'Knowing something' is not the same as FEELING - experiencing - it. We must experience and feel loved and cared for - and seen - to work through something effectively, right!?!! While we can do that for ourselves, it takes tons and tons and tons of practice and even so, we still may want or need others to be that MIRROR for us at times. I love the way you ended this, BTW, too. :) ok, thank you for listening, now. ;)

You are fantastic therapist. I have to pay a crap load out of pocket for a therapist who tells me much of what you do. Difference is he can get me to calm down to see what are triggers etc.
    You are incredible.

I agree with all the people who said you made a positive difference in their lives. You put this on here for free when you don't have to and it's so helpful because it's not just "feel it and then accept that you're feeling it" for some reason that's always where the advice stops. Yours goes beyond that and it's the actual help I needed. I am glad you decided to continue with the videos.
