    What browser or app are you using for Google Workspace in this video? It looks super clean and very minimal. Thanks!

    What you using for screen recordings? It does it in a really interesting way.

    Thanks for this overview! 14:17 Unfortunately, using the external non-business version of Gemini (or any AI) is a business data security risk, since those AIs definitely learn & train on user data. That’s a sure method to leak sensitive business data out into the world. That’s probably why Gemini for Google Workspace “thinks” a little differently when summarizing and composing content. I wonder if Gemini for Workspace will improve over time inside your own business, as it learns from your business’ internal data flow.

      Thanks Melissa, you’ve made some great points. I think it’s a challenge for the business AI to be as good as the general AI for these data security reasons. However it would be great if the Business version of Gemini got to know your company and its needs over time. From what I can see currently there isn’t anything of this with Gemini in Workspaces. I have started to see it in HubSpot where you can use AI with your specific companies, deals and account data.

    So is Googles work suite now overtaking Microsofts office suite ?

    • @terrificdigital
      @terrificdigital  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m not sure if it’s overtaking, because I think AI in office is better, but at least it’s staying competitive

      Seems pretty underwhelming compared to open AI

    Gracias buen video, suma las fallas por ejemplo operaciones con grandes números en hoja de calculo para ver supera a Microsoft?

    • @terrificdigital
      @terrificdigital  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gracias! Supongo que Microsoft y Excel serían mejores con los números, pero quién sabe.
      I’d guess Microsoft / Excel would be better than Google Sheets if we ran a large numbers test. But who knows? 😄

    Thanks. I'm trying to justify keeping it, but it is very barebones and not that useful for me to justify the cost at this moment. I have the same issue where I'm with Workspace because MS doesn't offer Co-pilot for the business starter tier (only standard and higher) and Google does have better doc syncing, as MS web applications are terrible

      Yes, agree. I'm close to cancelling my Gemini Workspace subscription because it doesn't really offer enough to justify it at this stage. I'm interested to see how it keeps improving though. I hope it will get better.

      For me they are simply betas or test versions given the impressive speed and competencies of large companies with investment in AI.

      @jackgaleras agree. Gemini for Google Workspaces is definitely minimum viable product at this stage

    Make a video on how to delete the message. Received a message asking me to download when you say no thanks it does shady things and won't let you delete the message. Now I have this message stuck on my phone asking me to download their app. No I don't want to please go away

    I didn’t like google workspace and canceled it in trial time. Didn’t see any benefits and very complicated to do simple things. The price also high

    Gemini is like a difficult teenager compared to GPT. The potential is great but every prompt you give it its results are like, uggh ok fine but ill only do just enough to make you leave me alone in such a way you never ask me again

    • @duncanestment9687
      @duncanestment9687 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Example from the attached pdf provide me with a summarised list of key points - Gemini " I can't help with that. Do you need help with anything else?" - Me " why not?" Gemini proceeds to follow the prompt, but barely summarizes anything

    It might be OK for the things you did, but Gemini is total crap for 90% of the people who have an Android phone. Gemini had no physical access to your phone and can no longer do the things the old assistent could, like play music, make appointments or even set a timer.

    They could easily add these features to smartphone and tablets. They just want to sell their laptop. I get phones can't replace desktop but could easily replace laptops. Its about time they bake these features on android.
