Its underrated tbh. everyone will just skip this since its kinda generic in a sense but its good. its not as good as Overlord, Eminence or OPM but the story carries it. hoping you continue to watch this.
6:06 I was happy to see that this wasn’t another anime where, even though the party has been together forever, they suddenly decide to get rid of the MC by being dicks to him, only for him to suddenly become OP afterwards, or even worse - they’ve been OP and carrying the team on their back, but they don’t see it for some strange reason. It’s a good filler, wouldn’t suggest posting more on TH-cam but it’s a fun watch so far compared to the depression fest that is anime this season besides Dan Da Dan and Re:Zero or possibly one piece

If he is struggling so much that he can only afford to post the things that will only earn him the highest possible number while locking everything else behind patreon to lure people there to watch an inferior version of the reaction, then perhaps he should have picked a more stable source of income for his main job. The sub numbers will only keep going up slowly but surely there is no need to self plug 5 times in a single reaction like he does sometimes, its just feels desperate.

I think this is my fav of the season. It's like a mix or Eminence in Shadow, One Punch Man, and Danmachi.
The current belief is that his friends just want to hang out with them and so don't want him to leave.
I think the appeal of this show is watching our man character deal with an Ainz-like dilemma.

この作品は先になればなるほど面白いので序盤は正直あまり面白くないかもしれません…。
爆発力には欠けると思います。
特にアニメだと主人公のモノローグが大幅にカットされている関係で主人公の言動や行動が意味不明に感じる部分があるかと思います。
アニメ1〜4話が原作小説一巻にあたるのですが、正直一巻が一番面白くないと言っても過言ではないので二巻にあたる5話以降なんなら三巻にあたる9話(仮)以降からがどんどん面白くなる作品ですのでもし特別面白くないと思っているわけではないのであればぜひ視聴継続して欲しいです。
面白くないと思っているのであれば無理に視聴しなくてもいいかと思いますが……！
「陰の実力者になりたくて」や「オーバーロード」のような所謂勘違いすれ違いコメディではあるのですが、2作品と違って「嘆きの亡霊は引退したい」の主人公は本当に弱いし無能です。ですので主人公最強で戦闘シーンを楽しむタイプの作品ではないことには注意です。
ただ主人公は本当に弱いし無能ですが、物語としては結果的に全て丸くおさまる上に誰も不幸にならない(敵を除く)し、なにより主人公の本質を理解しないまま起こす無意味とも思える行動や突拍子もない言動がしっかり伏線になっていて後から振り返ってみるとまるで未来が見えていたのか！？と周りを驚かせる構図になっている所が見どころだと思います。
序盤の主人公はまだまともではありますがどんどん回を追う毎に「いや主人公も他の幼馴染に負けないくらい大概狂っているな？」ってなります。そこまでアニメでは行かないと思いますが。
主人公が狂人だと気付いてからが面白い作品なのでその魅力が伝わるところまでアニメで行かなさそうなのは残念ですが、3巻(おそらくアニメ後半)の内容を見ればこの作品の楽しみ方がわかるかと思います！
楽しんでもらえると原作ファンとしては嬉しいです。
