The S5 is a sports car based on a 3.0-litre V6 TFSI engine with 270 kW (367 PS) (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km (62.1 mi): 7.9-7.4 (29.8-31.8 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 180-167 (289.7-268.8 g/mi); CO2 class: G-F) and an optimized combustion process. It has a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry (VTG) and MHEV plus technology for the first time. The revised S tronic dual-clutch transmission in the Audi S5, designed for more torque, also reduces the weight on the front axle and improves agility. Partial electrification by means of the new 48-volt MHEV plus system leads to reduced CO2 emissions via electrified driving components and high recuperation performance. Compared to an S4 Sedan TDI (predecessor model), the S5 Sedan TFSI (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km (62.1 mi): 7.7-7.4 (30.5-31.8 US mpg); CO2 emissions combined in g/km: 175-167 (281.6-268.8 g/mi); CO2 class: F) reduces CO2 emissions by up to 14 g/km. Its fast, dynamic torque build-up underlines the sportiness of the S52, 1. The standard use of a quattro sport differential with torque vectoring in combination with an adjustable all-wheel drive clutch is tuned for lateral dynamics at the highest level.
The Audi A5 and Audi S5, 1 will be launched in Germany and numerous other European countries in November.

Love the car but why tf was the microphone put right in the heart of the engine bay bc all I hear is the clattering from the direct injectors and not the stunning exhaust note🫠

The 2008 A5 was the launching point for the modern Audi design and was the direct turning point for the brand the accession. A car that won so many design awards and inspired an entire generation. it is beyond me how easily they can discard the A5 coupe for what amounts to a generic sedan. Why keep the A4? There is already an A6 and previously the A3 that satirists the 4 door experience. Looks like my 2018 S5 was my last time buying an Audi.

The title implied that I would see the driving aspect of this car. We didn't get a single peak inside, and instead we got 6 minutes of the most annoying sound imaginable.

Thats normal for the class, as it's the entry model. The C class and BMW 318i are around 8-9 Seconds to 100...

all the worst features and traits are transfered from a4 to this so called a5, and all the best of a5 are removed? why?!
Because of the new namings. Cars with a combustion engines use uneven numbers now. So the previous A5 currently doesn’t exist, and if it comes it will also called A5. The previous A4 is now the A5.
@@KevinVanDenHautethey’ve merged both together. The new a5 isn’t a replacement for the a4. There’s a difference.

Another weird looking car from Germany,.
They changed the A4 to the A5 and it came out crap, similar to the Mondeo, Hyundai and similar bland cars. They changed the very nice A5 to the A6 and it came out a beautiful facelift of the A5, which is now the A6 Sportback, only with a huge minus that disqualifies this car because it is electric junk. Audi has gone down a dead end where they will lose customers and money. They went the way of Volkswagen, which got into trouble because of electric cars.
