Yes Jim it is supposed to work the way you describe, but unfortuantely too many, not just Democrats, but also too many of our Republican elected officials lost track of the fact that they are in Congress to do the will of the people.

Willis and Merchant used to be close friends! Ask yourself if Trump is better off after the judge let Willis run her mouth and damage herself or would Trump be better off if the judge had kept Fani’s testimonyi under tight control? 😊
I think if the DoJ goes after an individual, all the fees should be on the DoJ. They shouldn't be able to price you out of justice.
