Juvia Lockser Voice Actor Comparison in the final season of Fairy Tail in the FUNimation Simuldub.

- So, this video that I have done is a comparison between two voice actors who voiced Juvia Lockser in the final season of Fairy Tail in the FUNimation Simuldub. Brina Palencia voiced Juvia throughout the majority of the final season of Fairy Tail, but because she was having a beautiful baby boy at the time, she went on maternity leave during the final season of Fairy Tail, finishing on Episode 290. During that time, Dawn M. Bennett (Frosch) replaced Brina Palencia as Juvia from Episode 291 until Brina's maternity leave was finished, during which Brina voiced Juvia for the remainder of the final season of Fairy Tail in English Dubbed.
In my opinion, I think that Dawn M. Bennett voiced Juvia really well and before I even started watching the final season of Fairy Tail, when I first heard that Dawn M. Bennett was voicing Juvia, I watched the chocolate scene and Dawn M. Bennett voices Juvia really well, almost similar to what Brina does when she voices Juvia.

omg this makes sense, I was so confused watching episode 291 because it sounded like someone else was voicing Juvia
Really? to me the voices sounded similar except one of the voices is kinda higher
I saw the season on DVD where Brina return to redub the lines. Dawn's a suprisingly good stand-in.
I really enjoyed Dawn Bennett time as Juvia, even though it was only for a small time.
Apparently, when Dawn filled in for Brina, she very cheekily used the alias of "Dina W. Balencia"
Have I ever mentioned that I absolutely love this woman? Dawn is seriously fucking adorkable 😂

To be completely honest I prefer Dawn Bennett to voice act instead of Brina Palencia. Just my opinion, please don't be mad😃

Episode 307, when Gray is thinking of his best moments with Juvia, the chocolate scene is the last memory that he thinks of. :)
@@jacquigawne1871 wow so she was back by episode 307? Did Dawn only do the one episode? Either way, I honestly wouldn't have told the difference if no one had told me. It did sound a little off, and Brina is one of the reasons I love Juvia, but nevertheless, Dawn did a great job. As VA cover jobs go this one was gold standard.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Dawn voiced Juvia in episodes 291, 292, 293, 294, 297, 298 and 301 (I might be wrong with Episode 301 though). Brina voices Juvia from the start of the final season up to Episode 290, then she voiced Juvia again from Episode 304 for the remainder of the final season of Fairy Tail in English Dubbed. :)

No, Brina Palencia voiced Juvia throughout Fairy Tail in English Dubbed. For the SimulDub of the final season, Dawn M. Bennett did more than one episode voicing Juvia in the final season of Fairy Tail. Correct me if I am wrong, but Dawn voiced Juvia in episodes 291, 292, 293, 294, 297, 298 and 301 (I might be wrong with Episode 301 though). Brina voices Juvia from the start of the final season up to Episode 290, then she voiced Juvia again from Episode 304 for the remainder of the final season of Fairy Tail in English Dubbed. Brina would later do the episodes that she missed out before the final season got released on home media. Hope this helps! :)
I'm rewatching the final season because i originally saw it subbed and Julia's voice actor changing really threw me off. It sounds good for it being a different person but very noticeable and kind of bad compared to the og.
Unless you did a typo in your comment, Juvia's subbed voice actress did not change. The dub did when the final season of Fairy Tail was being simuldubbed by Funimation. :)
It just sounds like juvia's voice actresses are going to sing opera. I think it doesn't suit her personality, juvia is innocent and childish, it doesn't reflect these aspects as this kind of voice is pretty mature, but that's just my opinion ^^'
Juvia has always been dramatic and theatrical, que the wedding bells and blowing things out of proportion. And Julia is honestly one of the least innocent people in the show with her daydreams, and she catches on when characters flirt 😂

Brina or Dawn? Dawn was only a temporary replacement for Juvia in the Simuldub. Brina did Juvia's lines that she missed when the final season was being released on DVD and Blu-Ray. :)
@@jacquigawne1871 Both actually. I think it fits her better if she has the high pitched voice similar to the Japanese version
