So, I first learned of Brina Palencia through Spice and Wolf. Recently, I found that she was on Stein's Gate. So I found this video just to see some of her other roles. I am now thoroughly stunned and completely speechless. The fact that she can throw her voice so completely that certain voices I can't even tell are hers when I know what to listen for is astonishing. And then to find that she pretty much voiced half of One Piece! And then J. Michael Tatum is pretty much the same voice no matter the role. Just a different pitch and with or without an accent mostly. Not really different. Still an impressive voice that fits the role he plays, but not really different. It's the emotion behind his voice that makes it fit nearly any role perfectly. While Brina fits her voice to the role instead, Tatum fits the role to his voice.
Sure can't unhear Hououin Kyouma in a bunch of Tatum's roles. Same with Palencia's Holo. Hmm, when we getting a compilation of voices by Trina Nishimura and Ashly Burch?
