- It's a tough question, right?
It makes your stomach kind of twist when you think about it. Maybe it's because someone hasn't reached out in a while. Or you saw an old friend, and they didn't recognize you. Or an ex moved on quicker than you expected.
Whatever it is, it stings.
It makes you wonder about your place in other people's lives. About the impact you've had. About whether you matter as much as you thought you did. But here's the thing I'm trying to remember: People's actions don't always reflect your worth. Sometimes people get busy or caught up in their own stuff. It doesn't necessarily mean you're forgettable.
And even if someone does forget...
That doesn't erase who you are or what you've done.
I guess what I'm saying is...
Your value isn't determined by whether others remember you.
It's about who you are, what you do, and how you treat people.
Still, I know it's not easy to shake off that feeling.
