With the raisin and plum notes you describes, sounds like it would fit better into a darker ale. The viewing angle or lighting makes the beer look a bit oxidised , but I'm sure you treat the beers you brew carefully so it is just probably the lighting.
I agree with your analysis. But vitamin sea brewing was able to make a tasty NEIPA single hopped with pacific sunrise. So it can work. Not sure how they made that happen. It’s why I bought a packet from Yakima but I failed haha.
Sounds like it could be used with a good dose of Sabro in any style of beer. Okay maybe not a dark beer, but other lighter beers. Not having used that hop it is just speculation for now. Would be interesting, cause that's we do as home brewers. Prost!
Any hop with a "wood aroma" descriptor is often a no go for me. Sometimes the lots are to blame too. Anyhow, the honest reviews are greatly appreciated.

in camera looks a bit just a touch oxidized color, maybe it has to do with it. cheers.

Appreciate the brutal honesty. Side note, I just got some Riwaka and it's 3.2% AA. Wasn't expecting that!
I love Mike's reaction. Sounds like a great SMASH to me. classic. haha

How do you carbonate the beer in the growlerwerks ukeg?
Looks oxidised going off the colour...
No - I have brewed oxidized beers before. This one was not. - John
Mmmmm, sounds horrible 😅
